Morning Wake & Feel Good

Many times I've written about how my body like to wake up oh it can be anywhere after midnight and it doesn't matter if I fall asleep early or late. The sleeping hours were more of a challenge when I used to have to drive to an office but being semi retired not so much.

Although I'm getting quite used to this new life style I don't often blog about the many things that just pickle me tink first thing in the morning while the rest of the world on this side of the planet snores but trust me, sometimes I feel so damn happy over something little I just want to shout it out. Not many people like a morning person so I refrain, my brother especially get annoyed if I wake him when excited. In his mind I'm like one of my tiny dogs all excited running around stuck in third gear all dressup with no where to go.

So this morning's trigger was on FB. One of my co-worker who I only got to work a few months with stole my heart with his story of adopting two siblings from our state, Florida's child welfare division. He started the process long before I met him. His wife works with disabled children and for whatever reason they wanted to adopt and were most likely going to adopt a child with challenges. When we worked side by side I knew he put in for a kid or two but for whatever reasons the adoptions did not go through.

Finally (after I moved away from the job) two small siblings became available with a horrible past from a drug infested Mom's life style. After the trial runs he got that little boy and girl. The state put him through hell to qualify but he has to pay nothing for this adoption nor will he have to pay their medical and the kids get a state college free education if they want, those are HUGE perks.

Back to my happy trigger this morning. It's dark, I've done my chores, got a cup of Fall's pumpkin spice coffee and looked at Facebook. Came across Josh's pictures which I hadn't seen in forever and went to his page to see tons of pictures of two children that came to him shy, afraiid with faces of no expression to sooo many faces of giant Chesshire Grins in either family outings, fishing, picnics and so much more along with a thankful tribute from the Mom about how happy their lives have changed. I swear the little boy is starting to look like his adopted father. The father's grin is so big that is all you see when you look at his face, one big grin.,

It just made me so happy I had to come blog it out of my system before I do my pole dance.

Boys and girls......Does the apple ever fall too far from the tree?

Unwed early pregnancy, intimate partner abuse, time behind bars, substance abuses, obesity, school dropping out, and lots more. Follow great grannies/dads through many generations and you see it often. Culture? But there are exceptions.

If you Love your Mom

The Translation :
I Will Come Back Mother Kissing Your Luscious Head
Divulging My Longing To You And Sipping Your Right Hand's Essence
Nuzzling My Cheek In Your Feet's Soil
Watering The Ground With My Joyful Tears
How Many Nights You Were Sleepless Working To Get Me Sleeping Like A Kid
And How Many Times You Were Thirsty But You Worked To Water Me With All Tenderness
And I Will Never Forget Your Rainy Eyes When I Was Sick
And Your Restless Eye Scared Of Any Danger May Happen To Me
And What About Our Farewell In That Dawn ,, What A Hard Dawn It Was
No Heart Can Ever Describe The Abandonment That You Faced By Me
Then You Said Something I Couldn't Forget Up Until Now :
It's Impossible That You Will Find Warmer Arms Than Mine

Oh My (( Life's Joy )) The Creator Of The Universe Commanded Me To Be Loyal To You
Your Content Is The Secret Of My Good Fortune And Your Love Is My Faith's Sparkle

Out of the mouths of babes......

Finding a nice used vehicle for the twins. Being a car guy, can inspect and purchase right. Girls seem to love car. Has one of those AUX inputs---what the hell is that?!?! In proudly describing it to their mom, she hit me with a litany of reasonable negative cautionary statements, and I didn't react well. Pride comes before the fall, as tha Bard said. Girls gently mentioned that I could have been more diplomatic with mom. Apologized fortwith. Tail tucked firmly between legs. The art is long. But am slowly learning, with a little help from my friends.

The Irish---and the Choctaw.

Is it a product of the C-19 influences on us all? Or something greater? During the potato blight famine, around 1847, apparently the Choctaw tribe sent just under USD 200 to help the Starving Irish. Now, it's not as if this Tribe was without it's own racist challenges, as with all Native American groups in Canada and the USA. Following their good hearts, the Irish have been taking up collections to return the kindness. Can anyone say Hope for humanity ? Can't make this stuff up, folks.

But the topic is a sensitive one for me and I'm not ready to spill my blood and guts on these pages just yet so here's a little something I whipped up in the meantime.

I miss vacationing sometimes

As I recall long ago I treated my uncle and grandfather to a fishing trip for walleye in Wisconsin one spring and of course it was a perfect day cloudy and nearly cold so fishing wasn't so great and as I steered the boat to shore I told uncle a polite reminder to wait till I pulled the boat on shore grandfather was off first being on the bow me in the middle and uncle at the end so grand got off then I walked to the bow to jump off and pull the boat on shore more as I grabbed the bow to pull it that's lol when my uncle started to stand up and done a flip in deep cold as he** water of course it caught me off guard like WTH then I hear Gramps laughing and a few shore fisherman then of course I did then as uncle reaches shore soaking wet he says boy is that water cold, that did it we all laughed even more and more for the next five minutes by then poor uncle was getting mad and we all started laughing all over again..lol

Your tips for graduates, from the perspective of your life experience.

Dear friends! Most of you who read and comment on my blogs already know I'm a special boy's mom. But I am also a mom of a very smart, intelligent, creative, beautiful, kind daughter. She is a million times better than me. She is active in various intellectual competitions, writes poems, is interested in history, mythology, space and astronomy, and dreams of working for Nasa. She dreams of designing a large vacuum cleaner that will clean the planet from dirt and change the world. But to build houses in the air that would not occupy space on earth and would not destroy nature. She is worried about the global problems of the world. In particular, pollution, the extinction of rare species of animals and plants on earth, as well as its concern with human cruelty and war. At the age of 10, she outperforms her peers with her outlook on life. So today, as always at the dinner table, we discussed different topics. And she remembered how 2 years ago, participated in the competition on the topic of "the future in 100 years". The best works are in the time capsule. Her picture of the future was one of them. And my daughter and I decided to make such a "time capsule" for her and her brother and school graduates. I usually support any idea of ??children that helps them to develop. So I decided to join and started writing a letter of advice for the future. Of course it is quite voluminous. But I would like to hear your opinion as well. So, what advice would you give to your children graduating from school? From the point of your life, your life experience? Thank you.
