That's not a joke.
There may be former English kings, queens, princes & princesses rolling over in their graves right now.
They couldn't think of a better name than Archie ?
Will he eventually marry an Edith ? and nickname his son-in-law 'Meathead' ?
Will his favorite sayings include......"dummy up" ?
Was Bozo taken ?
I have read a few blogs questioning the validity of internet romances. I for one believe that they do exist because I am in one right now. Given the fact that how can you have romance where there is not a physical aspect to it I can only say that feelings cross that border. Notwithstanding the scammers, having a legitimate relationship is possible.
With that I submit this story from the newspapers in the advice column "Annie's Mailbox" (If my memory serves me right!) I will only quote the writers important concerns:
It appears that the writer had an online relationship and her love died. She is in mourning and has been attacked by her family for being stupid. The young lady is now not only mourning but also in a very hurtful way because of her family's attitude towards her.
The writers for "Annie" have sided with her (and I agree) and have advised her to go to groups for those in like situations for support. "Annie" further advised her to ignore the situation by not mentioning it again to her family.
I tend to be very discreet about what I do in my personal life but this column in today's paper really struck a nerve. All of my life I have had to "explain" myself to my family and I really resented it.
I do things as a matter of choice and I don't comment on peoples life unless I am asked specifically by the person with an issue. I give my honest opinion and I respect their feelings.
Yessir, life is simple when you adhere to living it simple! In my relationship only my daughters know and they do not comment.
On one side of the abortion issue, it's called being for choice/womens' rights. On the other, it's called being pro life/support for the innocent unborn. Thesis-antithesis-but can there be synthesis? Aa.
online today!
Finally the agonizing times are over.
She smiled and said goodbye and for one last breath, she's with our Lord.
May she rest in peace.
Thanks all for your prayers.
She asked us all (family and friends ) to celebrate. But even that is not easy. I still cried but deep down very happy. Her two years fight is over.
God Bless you Shannon.
Your strength inspired us all. We love you.
Note : She's 52 years old, smoked for 30 years. Only stopped two years ago but her body was too far gone, health wise.
My 25 year old daughter is going to make me a grama, again. I am hoping she has a little girl that is just as onery, saucey, rebellious and mouthy as her! It will teach her right!! Ha ha. Thank you, God!
In my years of planning, deciding and figuring out
the best for my boys alone.
I came to realised that it's nothing even I knew it's so hard being mom and dad.
Why I said so...
Because being a mom is the unselfish role we can be
to our children. This is the whole package we can
take it with us dear moms....so CARRY ON YOU ARE DOING GREAT
JOB...
Once you have found a mate and wish to complete a US immigration K-1 visa application filing form I-129 it is necessary to establish the website "Connecting Singles" is not a a marriage broker. If your application does not provide the information below you will have to complete a Request for Information that can take months to resolve. I have written CS about this serious problem with no response.
The precise question is:
To avoid an RFE (request for evidence) from the USCIS, you need to contact the website (CS) and request a written statement regarding International Marriage Broker Regulation Act (IMBRA) and whether or not they comply with IMBRA? If CS is not an IMB, they should provide a statement explaining why they are exempt from IMBRA.
I am offering this question in the hope receiving the required information from CS or a fellow member and in the hope others that have been successful using CS site and wish to marry will be able to avoid delay in their K-1 visa application.
Thank you for your responses.
I'm not referring to a goiter, a urinary tract infection or herpes flare-up. No, I'm talking about the craving I have for a smoke. I average a couple of cigarettes a week or so and I'm currently about 10 days without one but the craving won't die. Maybe the problem is the triggers.
Every cup of coffee, every meal, every midget porn video. The point is that it's hard for me.....like trying get past the 5 minute mark of a Trump speech.
I think I'd have an easier time with sticking my leg in a wood-chipper, having my face torn off and eaten by a wolverine, or plucking my Persian neighbor's back hair.
I know. I know...there's nicotine gum and e-cigs but if I didn't have this to b*tch about, what's left? Politics I suppose, but aren't there already enough a-holes doing that?
I think I need a smoke....
