It is much pleasure to prepare foods for our beloved and feel the luxury of holiday time at home. Seeing Moms enjoying the hard work's fruits is more rewarding than many other things

But though i don't dare to look at facebook as that might make me feel sad looking at my friends' families and their chidlren, many neighbours came with their children and all the cutiest things that make me crazy for having kids of my own. oh well, this incident made my holiday half ful lol.

Life seems teasing me when the men i like either do not want children or can not have children. time passes by so fast, hope after hope, disappointment after disappointment but thankfully that new days still come with new hopes.

Anyway, prepared for the worst, ready for the possible and hope for the best

To me, go well has such a beautiful meaning. It says, be careful where you go, don’t get hurt, please don’t let others walk all over you. Walk tall. It’s also a gentle message that says , I care. When you go I will see you again, it doesn’t sound as final as goodbye. It also says you have a friend in me. You are in my heart, thoughts and prayers. Always. Without you life will be dull. You have a special place in my heart and life. May your first step in 2015 be fearless. May the rest of the new year be filled with beautiful colours.

Since I was young and able to see and understand the roles opposite sex can do, I was so thankful that I was born or God made me a woman.

My loving brother was made to do so many physical works in the farms that I didn't have to do. Meaning he's in the scorching sun or in the heavy pouring rain farming while I helped my mother do woman chores in the comfort of our home.

In the old traditional values and Filipino culture, women didn't need to go to school and dream of becoming anything than that of a house wife and raise children. My father was different. He asked me what I wanted to do after mandatory schooling and I said: " I want to be a lawyer". So he let me pursue my career against the expectations of my uncles and aunts. But with the support of my great grandmother from Spain and my mother, I rose above that traditional value. And so I became a University professor and traveled the world. I could only be thankful that my father deviated away from such a limited thinking and yet never heard of feminism.

In today's society, it's a fact that women are now entitled of rights that were not available before.

I, too am thankful of that, but I don't use it to ever claim that I'm better without a man and or I can do it all without a man.

Still I'm so grateful that I am a woman. Wear skirts and cry whenever I want to if I have to.

First I wish to thank everyone who has read my past posts & especially the ones who left me such motivating comments, sharing with others is a good way for us to realize we are all people with similar problems with similar solutions by sharing.

Today I was out and about shopping, oh not Xmas shopping like most the other folks I observed while I was out. I had to stock up some vittles and pick up some medicine from my pharmacy today, I did notice the majority of the people out today was not smiling and enjoying their shopping. Has our society forgotten Xmas is about family memories, we give ourselves all this stress this time of the year shopping for the perfect gift(s) for all the special ones in our lives, but how many of you are missing out on many of the pre-holiday fun? All the lights and displays this time of the year is just awesome, most of all the excitement on the children is the most precious gift of all. Xmas is not suppose to be about the gift(s) we give or receive, Xmas is suppose to be about love and family memories which will outlast whatever gift(s) you give or receive most of the time. Take some time to enjoy this time of the year, before you know it Xmas will be here and gone. For me Xmas is about the time I am able to spend with my loved ones, see my family is not as close as I would like us to be any other time of the year but Xmas Eve.

...on the 31st Mrch I sent my son off to the Uk for a 2 week break to see his mates, it was the first time he has flown on his own so old dad was a bit worried.

Louis has always been a shy and not very confident lad, but he managed to get to the UK fine, his mate picked him up and not heard from him really.

Today on Facebook he posted a photo..its the first time I've seen him smile in a photo as normally he hates having his photo taken.. He booked a train ticket to London and found his way via a tube to meet a Girl he met last time he was in the UK.

Seems I've lost my son as he's all grown up and don't need his dad to take him places anymore...been sat here crying my eyes out..times flies.

When you go out, particularly at night, do you carry a knife or some other weapon to protect yourself?
