Wanted to check the Saigon Skydeck at Bitexco Financial Tower out but dark clouds were already looming over the horizon.
We went to have coffee and cakes instead in one of the many cafes in this building; apartments that have been converted to fanciful cafes.

Breakfast before we left for the airport. It was made more delectable by adding this yummy shrimp paste. I finished almost half the bottle!
My daughter chose to have banh mi and it was clearly a better choice. I took a bite and ordered one to go!
My mom enjoyed banh mi and the baguettes a lot when she visited Vietnam many years ago so I decided to get her some freshly baked baguettes. I just realized how obscene this picture turned out to be….
