Let's see who can think of the most ridiculous effect brought about by a Covid vaccine. I know the best ones have already been thought of in other blogs, so this is a sort of best-of-the-rest exercise. My tip is to approach this game as if you were a complete idiot, and thereby try to think like one. There are no prizes, this is just for a bit of fun.

I Just Cannot Understand It..........Or......Should I Say That I Do Understand........The Reasoning Of Why.......For I Have Searched Everywhere..........I Have Called Out The Name That Is Possessed By This Being..........I Have Waited For What I Thought Would Be A Communication..That Has Not Happened Either.........Maybe Somebody Somewhere Has An Idea Of Where This Person Might Be?

This week, we have had a film project at school, which we had to show today. The best video would win a prize. We were divided into groups, and each group had to make a 5-7 minute video about a subject we picked ourselves. It could be an informative campaign, an advertisement or an "a day in the life of" video. My group chose advertisement. We then had to pick what kind of advertisement we wanted to make. We picked the only correct thing to make - a spoof of a 90s era tv shop advertisement. We then had to figure out what we had to sell. The advertisement was meant to be targeted towards truckers, so we decided to do an advertisement for ratchets and straps. Then we needed a name. Here's where my brilliance came in.. "Why not name it Strap-On?". The other people in my group looked at me and went "YES! Brilliant!". So we got to work with a storyboard. I was in charge of writing and filming, while another one was in charge of editing and one was in charge of doing some voice over work. Out fourth man in the group wasn't fairly active, but it was fine. He had some stuff going on, so his mind was somewhere else. He did help with setting up shots, so he did contribute something.

Then it was time for filming. Tuesday was spent getting b roll footage, and Wednesday was the big day, where lines were to be said, and where I was going to do my first ever stunt. The majority of filming took about three hours to film, so we had plenty of time to edit and write. But what about the stunt? Well, it was glorious! The plan was to have a metal hook thrown at me, but not really hitting me. I then had to sell being hit, while a sound effect was playing, but when it was time to shoot it, I thought "Nah, that seems a bit too no-no. Let me just be pelted with straps". That was my stunt, and I nailed it! Anyway.. Thursday was spent getting an interview shot, with one of the teachers, playing the part of a trucker. I told him to improvise his lines, so it would flow naturally. Fifteen minutes later, everything was shot. I then sent the files over to the editor, and he went to work putting it all together, and making it look fantastic. At around 4 pm yesterday, we got our first rough cut - and it was fantastic! It was the proper 90s feel, and it really felt like we were watching something made back then. By 3 am, the video was complete. I watched it this morning, and I couldn't stop laughing.

It had a 90s filter on it, so it looked like VHS quality, and the entire video just had a nice flow to it. Then it was time for the premiere of the videos we all made. Group 1 made a video called Trucker Life, and it was about what a trucker did. There was also an interview with a trucker, where a student from my class played the trucker. Group 2 was my group. Group 3 made a video about the importance of having the correct safety gear. Group 4 was absent, and group 5 made a video about the school. It was fairly well made, and it was by far our toughest competition. Group 6 made a video about a company, where they also had an interview with a trucker. All in all, great videos.

Then it was time for a vote, and then the winner would be named.

5th place, with 1 vote: Group 6
4th place with 2 votes: Group 1
3rd place, with 6 votes: Group 3

It was then, where I thought "Can we really win this?"

I was about to find out. Only one vote separated 1st from 2nd.

In 2nd place, with 8 votes: Group 5

Which means, ladies and gentlemen, that group 2, my group.. The strap-on advertisement WON! The prize was our own safety vest, a pair of gloves, an air freshener for a car, a bag of candy and an ice scraper. Quite a good way to start your week off!

If You Have Not Understood Yet?...Let Me Express To You That The Island Of Taiwan?...Is A Defenders "Dream Come True".... How Are You Going To Cross Over 100 Miles Of Water In Order To Invade Taiwan Mr Xi With What You Have? Just Think Of All The Logistics You Would Need To Invade Taiwan...Because What You Have Is An Army That Has Not Seen Warfare Since 1979,.....And Those That Did See Warfare? Are All Old Time Generals With All Of Their Medals On Their Coats.

Taiwan Is Possibly The Most Fortified Island In This World......That Has Only 14 Possible Invasion Beaches Of Which The Chinese Could Use For A Land Invasion.......And Let Us Not Forget That There Are Over 100 Small Taiwanese Islands That Are Too Small To Show Up On A Map....And Every One Of These Islands?... Is Fortified With Artillery... Missile Sites... Rockets... And Honeycombed Tunnels That Have Exits Everywhere..........And Did I Mention To You Mr Xi That These 14 Possible Invasion Sites On Taiwan Have Very Steep Cliffs After You Get On The Beaches?...(That's If You Make It) ...Your Invasion Fleet Would Have To Get By These 100 Or So Islands Before It Could Ever Reach Taiwan's Mainland,... (And Mr Xi?..You Have My Sympathies).... Because Your Army? Which Will Be Made Up Of People That Have ZERO Experience When It Comes Down To ACTUAL Warfare Would Pay Dearly At The Least

And Let Us Remember That Taiwan Has Its Spies Living In China (And Some Of These Spies?.. Are Posing As "Double Agents"
For You Mr Xi?..To Even Have A Shot Of Getting Onto The Mainland? (Besides Dropping Your Boys From The Sky?)...You're Going To Need (At The Least?) About 7 To 10 Men For Every Defender On The Shore Facing You.....(They ALL Will Be "Cannon Fodder" For The Weapons Staring You Down)......And Like Your Weapons?...Taiwan Has The Very Same Missiles That Can Reach Hundreds Of Miles Onto Your Mainland.(So Maybe You'd Be Wise Enough To Understand That "YOU" Will Pay A Very Dear Price No Doubt At All About It.

Usually, when I research musicians I check to see their 'net worth' listing and always surprised by my findings. There are times where I shake my head and say "Where do they get these numbers from?"

Grace Slick, singer for Jefferson Airplane estimated $20 Million
I believe that's an exaggeration. Old rock stars weren't paid high salaries.

Bobby Caldwell singer, songwriter, composer with credits of dozens of artists recording his hits is listed at $8 Million from celebritynetworth.com
Only $8 million?? Dude, you've got the wrong manager. Peter Cetera (who sings your songs) clocks in at $40 Million.

Stevie Nicks of Fleetwood Mac listed at $120 Million. 50 year career with lots of hits songs, touring, solo and duet ventures. Believable she earned that and only 20% of it was spent on cocaine.

Christine McVie, singer and keyboardist for Fleetwood Mac. $105 Million.
Mick Fleetwood, drummer and co-founder of Fleetwood Mac having sold more than 120 million records only has $30 Million. Forget about touring money... if he earned 50 cents for every album, he would have made $60 Million.
Something wrong with the math here. Mick too low and Christine too high.

Frankie Banali, drummer of heavy metal band Quiet Riot listed at $10 Million at the time of his death. I remember somewhere around $30 Million 5 or 6 years ago. QR was performing over 30 gigs a year. He was paid to do studio recordings for other acts.

Robert Trujillo, bassist who joined Metallica 18 years ago is listed at $30 Million.
That's $1.6 million per year. It was mentioned on his audition he would receive a signing bonus of $1 Million. Pretty steep, but Metallica were sitting on their a$$es when Jason Newsted left. Jason is listed at $60 Million.

Paul Stanley of KISS, $200 Million.
Gene Simmons, $400 Million.
Prince estimate between $200 - $300 Million at the time of his death.

I haven't qualified this, but I believe Paul McCartney with a net worth of $1.2 Billion is one of the richest musicians in the world!
