norslyman: In as much as the "theory" of evolution teaches the survival of the fittest, wouldn't it follow that the North and South American Indians were standing in the way of the progress of mankind, and therefore deserved to be wiped out. Even their immune systems were not able to fight a simple disease as smallpox. They were not genetically advanced enough to handle white mans alcohol - how backwards can you get! Their simplistic ideas like "respecting mother earth" would never have fueled the Indutrial Revolution.

This is an obvious case of Evolution in action is it not? The religion of Evolution has no moral codes, so why should anybody care what happens to a backwards culture standing in the way of progress? You can't believe in evolution AND have morals. The two are mutually exclusive.

JamesBraginton: I agree with u. I would like to add something. The first people that came to america were not indians. They european tribes. This was during the last ica age. They simply walked across the ice cap that ran from europe to the upper east coast. Some of them inter married with in indians. There have been many skulls that have been found from North America to south america. These skulls are from white people that came over to the americas aroudn 11,000 to 15,000 years ago. Indians, arrived around 9,000yrs ago.

The indians of today are frauds and want u to feel sorry for them so they can continue to operate their huge casinos. oh, lets bring back their real name. Injins!

norslyman: And here's a big monkeywrench to throw at evolution. What do you have to say about the bones of giants that have been found and covered up. The 12 foot bed of the King of Bashan - did he like lots of legroom? The GIANT city of Baalbek found in Lebanon, some kind of a joke? The bible alone explains the giants.

solitare: It doesn't appear that they can have arisen through the process of chance mutation favoured and preserved by selection in the way that the neo-Darwinian theory,(selection-driven evolution wedded to modern genetic theory, formulated in the early part of the 20th century) requires.
