Writer1966: Just take it easy, guys. Darwin himself didn't believe in his theory.
That is complete and utter rubbish , there have been many different accounts of Darwin recanting on his death bed, all have been proven to be factious , this sort of slander has plagued a lot of famous people the two that spring to mind at the moment are Karl Marx and Richard Dawkins (although some one should of told the author of Dawkins death bed confession that that he is still very much alive)

Darwin actually didn't want his theory to be published. It was his friend, Spinoza who published it. Darwin regreted about it.
Excuse me BUT I am one of those poor educated Native people...and I think I know my own history a bit better than you ever could...and I think perfectly fine thank you...and go to Asia...we're not missin out on much....and the poor education are the lies the history books tell...I don't care who walked over on what ice-cap...the Native people were the ones living in North America when the Europeans came over...if the Europeans were already here...there would have been no need to slaughter the Natives for their land....
JamesBraginton: U should be ashamed of yourself. U are an example of the fraudulent attitude that has been ingrained from poor education. That is why men are going to asia and different parts of the world to find a sane woman who thinks straight and is very intelligent. Have fun!
Lilacwinds: I agree with you......thanks for welcoming me to CS...i am half mohawk and cree....
Kewwwwwlllllll....You will see ignorance on the forums when it comes to North American Indians...BUT also you will see a lot of education and understanding too...which is nice...to see that people do take the time to educate themselves on the reality of things...NOT just the cut and paste history versions.....
What I find interesting is, most young people these days don't know that the United States Governmental system, sans the bureaucracy, is based on the Iroquois Nation and their checks and balances. Talk about a serious chunk of historical fact that's left out of basic education, anymore.

Exactly...The Iroquois Great Law of Peace...BUT they don't teach the real history....it's all cut and paste...Cowboys against the Indians stuff....usually painting the Indians as nothing more than savages....
NAKEDMUDPEOPLE: We know our history. No need for you to add to the fire.
Add to the fire? My family has been fighting the injustice of the white treaty-breaking here in Oregon for 3 generations. Everybody knows about the plight of the Plains Tribes thanks to Dances with Wolves, but nobody really knows about the Yakima tribes and their fight to retain their tribal fishing rights "given into perpetuity" at Celilo Falls, only to have them flooded in in the '50's by Columbia River Dam projects.
Sure, they had a massive $$$ settlement. But their heritage is priceless, and their history unknown.
Knowledge is power. I only do my part. I owe my appreciation to their sacrifice, and I'm not going to stand silent is all.

I agree and we never should stand silent on anything we see as an injustice and I don't either...regardless of what it is....Silence to me means consent...and there are most certainly things I will never give my consent to agree to....

This was for the OP. I am sorry for the missed quote. And thank you for the sacrifice for all people.
Conrad73: I call out the Man on his ridiculous Statement about the Native Americans deserving to Die,and you kick me in my Teeth about it. Jeepers!
Well, read my two previous posts and you will see why I do not think "the man" is attacking any indian people. On the other hand I would not have to thank you for defending the Indians as you use same patronising and mean methods as those of James Braginton -who I have just replied to- and even you both display similar reading skills!
I would-however-join and make everybody join your mankind-Reformation-school if it could only prevent me from reading your insults to everybody that is not as clever as you are.

norslyman: In as much as the "theory" of evolution teaches the survival of the fittest, wouldn't it follow that the North and South American Indians were standing in the way of the progress of mankind, and therefore deserved to be wiped out. Even their immune systems were not able to fight a simple disease as smallpox. They were not genetically advanced enough to handle white mans alcohol - how backwards can you get! Their simplistic ideas like "respecting mother earth" would never have fueled the Indutrial Revolution.
This is an obvious case of Evolution in action is it not? The religion of Evolution has no moral codes, so why should anybody care what happens to a backwards culture standing in the way of progress? You can't believe in evolution AND have morals. The two are mutually exclusive.
Could somebody please shoot this stupid bear and make me a rug!
hi liked what you wrote
now I`ll give a heads-up! Pay attention.
the North and South American Indians are NOT the first people of this nation. Ask the Smithsonian! it will part of the History books in few years.
the biggest conspiracy of deception.
What they claim we did to them, they did to my ancestor. But they killed them all, except the women.
do you know about a woman GNO pool, her GNO can be traced to first mother.
So if her first mother was 14,oooyrs old her present GNO can be traced all the way back to prehistoric man.

Give a toss if my ancestors were not the first in America as I know for sure their identity and past......however FOR SURE the first were not yours at all as even if those "theories" from the tank-think Smithsonian were right then those Europeans would not have any resemblance with anything we have been calling European now. No cultural, no material link at all. (Ah! maybe you want to quote the Clovis spearheads an other "evidence"..then I welcome the debate...) It is funny how certain people think the opinions of a scientist related to such ideological sciences as Archaelogy and History are some sort of divine law freshly issued or soemthing like that, especially when it suits their personal rotten inner stuff.
In the US the White Nationalists have embraced that "theory" so maybe you want to make it popular here. Here I am to discuss the theory that will replace the "lies about the true settlers of the Continent".
