Besides which, who the fark really cares what "religion" he follows as long as the country is run in the right direction (according to the mass). Religion is like skin colour. The point being - we all love our children, we all have hearts that pump red blood, most of us have five fingers, five toes, one head, two lungs etc. We are all human beings, with different tastes and that is what makes the world go round! Be a pretty damn boring world if we were all the same!!!

cenobite: He's not even as left as our own Labour party here, or the British one,and they're not very leftist, to say the least. By the standards of anywhere outside of the Republican heartland (or whats left of it these days ) he's utterly unexceptional.

Are you going through change of life? There is a vast difference between Christian and Muslim run governments. If you want to live in a Muslim run country, perhaps you should elect one for your own.doh

What, you mean mentors that actually care about other people?

Conrad, I actually thought that you were a smart man, but with each and every political post of yours, it's proving to me that you don't have a clue.

Well, I am truly hoping that he is for real.

Can the U.S. afford another 4 years of backwards progression? I wouldn't think so, to be honest.

Of course not. Just a visceral statement about his mentors caring for other people. God forbid you actually do the homework and see who his mentors are....well played.

Just curious Conrad, do you consider your political views to lean more towards the Republican, Democrat, Moderate, or your own personal views?

drivenbysound: Can you give other examples of his "deceiving" the whole country?

I'm asking out of curiosity.

By decieving, I mean he is giving false promises that he won't or can't keep. He is giving the country a false sense of security by promising everything will be all right, we're headed in the right direction, things are going to improve in the near future etc. He is wrong and he knows it. He has a agenda that is his alone and the American people are being fooled by it. We are being headed away from a free democracy to socialism and/or communism, the exact opposite of what this country was founded on in principle. Some freedoms have been lost already and more are on the way. It was on the TV last night that hugging in public is being discouraged. C'mon, hugging??? Obama is trying to establish a New World Order, if you don't know what that means, look it up. If you are a Christian, it means big trouble ahead. If you are athiest or agnostic, don't worry about it, it won't apply to you.

You mean the country that was "stolen"?

Ever stop to think that maybe he is an optimist with forthright and is trying his best to see it through?

We have to give him time, Wix.

There are years upon years to unravel here..and the rest of the world will not change their view of America in a few months.

I'm giving him at least a chance.

What would you personally like to see results-wise?
