lights: Do you think Barack Obama is actually constitutionally eligible to be elected president? There are a number of legal challenges winding their way through the courts regarding this. If Obama is not a naturally born citizen, he is not eligible to run for president. If he held a dual citizenship he is not eligible. And if that is true, Obama is a fraud.

Oddly, despite this issue surfacing many times during his campaign, Obama has not taken the opportunity to put the issue to rest once and for all. If he is legally eligible, why would he not respond and end the controversy?

World Net Daily reports ":Lawyers and plaintiffs in a multitude of lawsuits also have asked why, if a birth certificate actually reflects that Obama was born in Hawaii, has he spent sums estimated by observers of up to $1 million hiring various law firms
to keep concealed his birth certificate, his college records and other documentation"

So, what do YOU think? I think it is weird that Obama has not resolved this. I would have.

Are people still raving about this nonsense? They will still be trying to take these ridiculous lawsuits by the time Obama leaves office and what will they do then, I wonder? Bring lawsuits that every piece of legislation he helped pass is null and void. Roll everything back to 2008? rolling on the floor laughing

It doesn't matter.

Schwartzenegger is certainly not eligible to be governor of California. But he is.

Dubya lost both elections but he got the position.

Politics is a sham.
The winners are not decided by vote and certainly not by legality.

As for the constitution, it was shredded decades ago.
And burned in the last 8 years.

Discussing the constitutionality of Obama's rise to power is like discussing the right of America to invade defenseless 3rd world countries.

It's an academic question.

Not necessarily.

The whole democrat vs republican paradigm is mostly scam.

The rank and file party members believe it, but at the top all the big power figures are in the same clique.

Obama even kept some Bush appointees in the cabinet.

In truth the right is pickled-tink to have Obama in office now as the wars drag on and spread and the economy crashes.

What emerges from the ashes will be some sort of totaliarianism in which elections are not likely to be any more real than they are now. (if they even bother to have them at all).

As you already know Hawaii became a state in 1959 but they may not have gotten it together for a few years and things get lost in the tranlation, let alone a new state being formed. His mother was a legal citizen of the USA and it makes her child able to either be a US citizen or a citizen of that country of birth when they becomes 18.. Second question, maybe his high school or college classes or records were average. The press would have a field day with that. Maybe he took classes in a subversive subject(Fasisum, imperialisum or whatever) that might be embarrassing now and he would like to forget it. grin

pretzelman: Exactly!! This is just a stupid attempt by those who don't want a black man to be president, to keep this in the minds of the American people. They know the argument doesn't hold water. But keep it in the press to try and cause dissension!!
But I thought it was patriotic to voice dissent...laugh
