Yes we do. By the time the summer comes it will have been eight months and we know what we want. after time we have spent together we know that we want to be together. The logistics of that are all that are needed to be worked out. I need a base here in Austria, so I will keep my home and we will see.

Don't let her fool you all... It is the Love she has for me that crosses oceans and makes me feel as though I am right there with her. Her willingness to be so open, her own writing she does in poetry and sends me in ecards with special songs, the devotion she gives to me and interest she has in me... I wish only that I could do more to make her feel as special and Loved as she makes me feel! Heck it is like she is right here in my arms all the time...

I give big kudos to those who are brave enough to give it a shot over such a long distance. I agree with what Whitesoul said back on page one about keeping the attitude of friendship until you actually get to meet in person. And that regardless of what does or doesn't happen, you've gotten to meet a friend.
O/S LDR's have worked very well for some, and failed miserably for others...just like any other relationship. I think if you feel you've found that one, and you both feel you can eventually overcome the distance, then you should go for it. Life, and love, is all about risks anyway. If it doesn't work, at least you'll know you tried.

emotions can become so intense tho , the written word is a powerful tool .
feelings can be decieving online , intense ,unrealistic expectations arise peoples ideal of a perfect person are imagined ,
Not in all cases obviously but certainly in some .
locally i tend to contact chat & meet in a week rather than countless emails so it would be very different for me .
