venere08: Good heavens no! But I think I know where you have developed your little story

I do recall me joking about a guy who contacted me from interstate from another site of which I wasn't a paid member. I posted here that a man who lived in Melbourne (interstate) and Sommer was seriously wanting me to pay my subs and open up his email to see what he had written. And all bets were on that he was married. Is that the one? I'd forgotten about that. You had the basics, 'cept you made up the rest!

Darn that Sommer. She never lets up does she?

Sommerauer71: I am in an international relationship.

It works for us, for now.

It has never bothered me climbing on planes.

Not the ideal situation but work keeps us apart at the moment.

Never enough, calls and emails, it can not replace being close to the person you love.

We see each other once a month at the very least.

Ok so you are in love both obviously have your own lives families friends etc & yet youve fallen in love so this monthly contact will continue until when? who moves ?
Do you think down the track thoughts or is it just me ?
Dont get me wrong i think its womnderful youve met someone to love I justy want some feed back on how it works.

Yes, you did well in remembering. You really did have me stumped, but you seemed to be serious so I got to casting my mind back, knowing there must be some shred of truth in what you were saying.laugh

Yes I did, after about 2 mths, because he had written me more emails. Essentially, he wanted to meet, surprise, surprise. So in the end, I wrote back giving him a piece of my mind. He didn't take too kindly to my communication. No idea why.roll eyes
So that was that cool

If I had been destined to meet a prince, I would have met him when I was younger, not now.

So, for now I am happy for other people to meet their princes and princesses.

I just go on and live my life the way I like it.wine

kizzy27: Hi all ,having not long ventured into the international forums Ive noticed alot here seem to be having relationships with others overseas how is it going for you , what are the hurdles faced , when do you plan to actually meet or have you already & do the logistics deter you at all .
Finnacial constraints would be difficult to overcome is anyone here facing that dilema?
Just wondering how it all comes together

I had a short lived international"romance" with someone. He came here first after 6 weeks of emails/phone calls and then webcam communication. I went to vist him 2 months later. It was Italy (for the Italian young man who asked OP about his country). The unfortunate thing is he thought himself the classic Italian playboy, and I don't share very well. At least not that sort of 'sharing'.

There also is alot of scammers so its hard to know if the person your speaking with is legitimate. Initially withoutbeing able to meet face to face its a concern, I think thats whats thrown me off a bit i mean ive met guys here who are soooo nothing like their photos , profile just liars

Its as if he lives here in Aus as we must chat about 6 to 10 times a day on our phones..
He will walk me to the bus stop as I wait for my bus to work and he walks me all the way to work when I get off the bus actually as we chat..

He sends me numerous texts while Im at work and he sings to me on the phone..
He takes pics of different flowers and he emails them to me as a way of me receiving them forever..
Oh and he made the most beautiful bouquet of flowers and he had them in front of my pics on cs that he mailed me which ive turned into my main screen pic on my pc..

He writes me poetry and he is always wanting to know about me and he always has a knack of lifting me when I have a blue day.
We also have a blast here with our mates who are right behind us with much supportcheering

Hi Kitty

During the summer, when we have the good fortune to have more time together, then we will look at where we are going.

We speak each day, hate being apart, but we cope and accept the situation. We are not unhappy and miserable when apart, because that would be allowing the situation to get us both down and we are not that sort of people. I am in education so I have the luxury of only working 34 weeks of the year. I have the time to travel.

When you say 'down the track' thoughts, could you explain please?
