Spartan88: Hi everybody!!!!
Well, the weekend is now over and its back to the gring and reality of another week of reality. Maybe its just me but I woike up early today and just lay in bed thinking about the
direction my life is going in. I am not working and single.
I mean, after the birthday bash with all you lovely people,
I might be just feeling withdrawl symptoms. Guess I'm just
tired of the normal rut. I mean, after 3 years on the site,
I've never actually met anyone and anyone I've been interested
in, doesnt feel the same...It just sucks! At 39, maybe I'm not meant to find anyone. I've even thought of leaving the site. I
like getting to know people, but by the time I get around to do the asking, they have someone else...sigh. I like to think I'm a
nice person. Friendly, kind, averagly good looking. I just have no idea what to do or how to meet someone....sigh. Ok, time to get up and have me cornflakes! It is 12.45! Seriously though....anyone else feel that way too?

I feel like that after the party!
seen no one swaps numbers, i'm been on here since 2006, on and off! slightly getting fed up! but made really good friends, but there also something missing in my life! male company!

Have a read:
Mon Dec 11, 2006 3:46 AM GMT : My..............
Thoughts tonight..

As you can tell be the late hour of this posting I cannot sleep.
When I lay my head on my pillow tonight I had many thoughts swirling around. One remained constant as a result of spending the weekend with my siblings.
While some of you were meeting people on a date possibly for the first time, some were at the ice skating, others at home alone, I was an observer of love .
I watched my parents, brother and sisters with their spouses, each having a special moment. Even though we were a family together, each couple were encased in a bubble that only they could be in.
My brother-in-law caressed my sisters hair unknowingly, it was a simple natural thing for him to do, when he became aware of her watching him, he smiled just for her as he lay his hand on his child’s head who was sitting on the floor at their feet.
While this was happening, my brother had 2 of his children on his knee, with his wife tucked into his side with her hand over his.
My other sister sat hand in hand with her husband watching the children as they played, possibly wondering when will they have a child to hold and love.
My parents were sitting close by watching over their family like two very proud matriarchs with their little fingers entwined.

Whilst this was going on around me, I glanced towards the window and noticed a woman sitting alone. It took a moment to realise that I was looking at me.

I returned that night to an empty house wondering if I will experience those moments for myself. Will I have those moments when my hand is being held or caressed? Will I be tucked into someone’s side?

Only time will tell

We met up 5 days later....moved in two weeks ago

You never know whats around the cornerhug

Hi everybody!!!!
We all want that special somebody in our lives to make us complete, but fate has a funny way of playing tricks upon us, when we look we don't find or we hook up with the wrong person just becos we are in need of somebody in our lives, but when we stop looking, somebody always ends up seeking us out.. We all have a soulmate out there somewhere, maybe we will meet them on here, maybe we will bump into them on the street, who knows, but thats fate!!

'When you're down and feeling blue,
Remember somebody somewhere is thinking of you....' A friend sent me that a while back when i wasn't in a good place, i keep it on my mobile.. And the power of a smile is amazing, try it, if you go out and you smile at everybody you meet, the majority of them will smile back ( cept the ones that think ur a complete nutter!!) and who can resist a smile!! I hope you feel better soon! Your dream woman is out there probably just as frustrated, trying to find you!!!

Why do people always insist that there is someone for everyone? If there was someone for everyone why are there soo many people alone and lonely? And if God or whoever you believe in has assigned someone for each of us..surely we would meet them when we are still young enough to enjoy and appreciate them?

And why do people always say that you meet ms/mr right when you least expect it? If you're alone you tend not to be in places you are likely to meet someone..cos you have noone to go to those places with.

I'm 42 and fed up with the platitudes!! I want someone in my life and I want him NOW!!!!!

I feel like that all the time too. I guess I am lucky that I have my children to fill my life. Having a good social life can both help and discourage me. There are times I am out with the girls but I would prefer to be home curled up in my own mans arms. But it would be even harder if I didnt have my friends to hang out with.

I would love to meet my soulmate but I am not even sure if I believe in soulmates anymore sigh
