I dont think the work long term if your speaking over 1 yr lets say. By then its fish or cut bait... They can work if its a year or under. We just have to many distractions and you really dont know someone until you are meeting and being with them for some time. JMHO But what do I know I can seem to make any of them work long enough to be considered working...

i was on my way out of here anyway when we decided there might be something to this deal after we had been friends for quite some time
i had a job and easy entry w/ my dogs to spain
ohhhh how i wish i had just gone and married him from there
i dunno when i began to consider 'this' this marriage idea...
somethin happened, my brain went wacky and i stayed still, cancelled spain and look at me now
waitin for the UK govt to do their job
dan i dunno exactly what kind of info you are lookin for

I can't give you any words of wisdom here, but that certainly won't stop me from putting in my two cents worth

A friend of a friend has one...he moved her to be with her about 10 yrs ago...still together.

Thanks, as I mentioned earlier, I wanted to hear about some success stories. If I knew about the success forum I wouldn't have posted. It's just that after reading the 1% thread, that doesn't gove much hope for a guy living in Alaska.

so we are told around here anyway
he had never been married and i had been alone for almost 7 yrs

if we could find a good match and a best friend believe me anyone can
