It took 8 years for Bush to dig us in this deep.....do you think Obama can just snap his fingers and get rid of 8 years of Bush war mongering?? Clinton had this country heading in the right direction. Sometimes it is amazing at how stupid americans are

I think ur a smart fellow and yes we are opposing parties since I am liberal.We need strong opponents to make good points and open up peoples eyes.

Do you not agree with Afghanistan? I can understand not agreeing with Iraq, but to call that war-mongering is short sighted. Everyone knew Hussein would have to be dealt with sooner or later. The U.S. and U.K. were spending 3-4 billion a year maintaining no fly zones over the south and Kurdish regions to keep Hussein from killing them. Clinton entered office after the fall of the Berlin Wall and the so called peace dividend-the closing of many bases in the U.S. and the money that saved, plus a good economy inherited from Bush senior. His wasn't a bad presidency, but hardly an outstanding one. He tried to make peace with N. Korea and got burned. He tried with the Oslo accords and Arafat rejected it.------ This thread is Archived ------
