Oh okay, I guess a coffee shop will just have to be a substitute for a good old fashioned pub where one can have a drink and pour out all ones woes on any listening or non-listening ears?
This week, I had a broken back tooth. It just fell out when I brushed my teeth, clank, on the washbasin. I was horror struck! Oh no .... not a piece of one of my teeth?! Yes, it was! A big molar - major chewing aparatus!
So I went off the next morning to local dentist - who quoted me - in Swiss Francs - 6,544 SWISS FRANCS - to do "something to my tooth" - which involved inserting a metal device into the root, making a bridge thing, pulling out my front crown (he said it was loose and needed to come out), and three fillings on other teeth......
I sank into a major depression - 6,544 Swiss francs is equal to about two round the world sea-cruises I believe?
And last night I went to sleeep to a major thunder and lightning storm, and rain like I havent seen in 5 years! - God was SO angry at that dentist!
So next morning I went over the border into Germany and consulted a dentist there ...........2,000 Sfr !! and my front crown is okay still, and I dont need 3 fillings - he even Xrayed my broken tooth and said it has to come out - but the new bridge thing would take care of it.
So, now, all is right with the world.
And poor old Conrad had to phone me, cause I neglected him with all my own worries about my bank balance ....... Anyway, we all okay now, again.... Conrad is okay, and I`m okay, and Rusty is okay, and you are all okay, so everythings okay, neh?
Smoky, I will recommend you to my dentist - 100 Euro for the works. Same quality but a couple of borders east of you.

Absolutely Mike. People here take exotic holidays and have their dental work done in other countries!.... and even have change over, for what it costs HERE!
I even considered going to Malta .. where they got a dental clinic and cater for tourists doing everything crammed into a few days ...... And another company transports one to Hungary, pays for the hotel, and all the dental work!
But anyways ... now I`m into Dental Investigative Work ... I`ve discovered there are actually some ethical dentists around .. been referred to quite a few very clever chaps in the last few days ... but I`m sticking with the German one for now...
Oooh, one scary thing happened this morning .... The 5,644 Buck dentist phoned me on my cell-phone and left a message ..... "G`day Madam, this is Count Dracula your Friendly Swiss Village Dentist, you have not called for your written quote - And that back tooth of yours realy does need urgent treatment! Kindly call in and see me urgently!"

Well, not that much, Wooffy. I just had a crown done on one of my smaller molars and it only costed me more than EUR600. So I could understand the thunderstorm that Smoky had to witness afterwards.
