I got my "bid list" today. I now need to select my preferences for my next assignment, which will take me away from Athens next summer and deliver me to a new adventure. I have a number of options, but when I consider a post, I consider the job itself and the location. I have over 100 possibilities, some of which I automatically am ruling out because I just don't want to go to those places for 3 years. The easy ones are Paris, Vienna, Hong Kong, London, etc. But I want to know more about Croatia, Armenia, Hungary, Serbia, Jordan, Israel, and South Africa (Pretoria, specifically). What can you tell me about your country (even if I haven't mentioned it yet, for I have many other options). What would a single American woman love about your country? Tell me...sell me...help me sort through the possibilities!

Malta was not on my list, either. I enjoyed my time there, but I don't like the location of the new Embassy that they are building....it's too remote for my liking. But Malta is lovely!

My job keeps me traveling. A few years here, a couple there. I will be doing this until mandatory retirement.
As for your question....of course I want a companion! Why the hell do you think I am on CS???

What about the good old USA?

Being of Hungarian descent naturally I would chose Budapest. I would be in heaven listening to the beautiful Hungarian language and don't even mention the food and the music. But of course I am a bit biased.

If you DO go to Hungary and you move in with a gypsy, and you should develop green spots on your thighs, I can tell you,
your gypsy's earrings are NOT solid gold.
