Big_John: Somehow I am confused also. I remember a time when people were dead at the ages of 20, 30, 40 years old. Today people are living to be 60, 70 ,80 and 90 quite regularly. Much of this is to the 'things' y'all are complaining about.

You can not reverse what has happened. Somethings will alway be better and some will be worst. That is just life.

No, but we should not just give credit to anything that comes out of a laboratory only cause it is "mainstream" medics.

Multi-resistant bacteria is a fact. So is the reason to it.

In finance there is a peak to all good and after comes a slope. In Aerodynamics too. I will stick out my chin and say it applies as much to life-expectancy!

Of course, it is as much a ethical question. Are we fine with a world of "Androids", then go ahead. But if one believes nature will need to maintain some kind of balance, then yesterday was the time to ask these questions and require answers to them.

Bentlee: Scenario 1 what would happen in your opinion, if all anti-bacterial soaps and cleaning products were removed from the shelf, antibiotics were given less freely. Scenario 2 remove scenario 1 And allow mutation of cells to continue and allow our immune system's to deplete as is our current path. Due to overuse of antibiotics an anti-bacterial cleaners. Please do share your thoughts. :) cheers all.
anti bac products are no1 on my shopping list . I have a random fear or germs and the like ,so your Scenarios are my worst nightmare come to life . But , I am now curious .

I'm going to share a quote with you from Linda Page, N.D., Ph.D. from one of my textbooks:

"There's no such thing as an essential drug. Drugs don't play a normal role in human biology. Health problems are not caused by drug deficiencies. Drug side effects occur for this very reason...because they aren't part of the normal workings of the body."

I was to post this in its own thread, but it belongs here:

We live with an image of power as something out of our control. Surely this must be an inherited image, told to us by our parents and teachers.

Since decades everyone have agreed that the true power is in the media, while few mentioned that it is not actually the media but those who read it.

Today we are our own media makers, we have you-tubes, CSs, blogs and micro-blogs, where each of us can choose to post our latest findings in any subject we'd like.

Generally that makes for a lot of noise but little substance, until something that hit the right cord within us is presented.

The true power today is in OUR hands, we are everything from the news and opinion maker to the designer of future choices.

Did you ever thought about how your words becomes visible and affects readers throughout the world as soon as you press enter?

Our parents never had that power, that's why they felt oppressed by whichever government were in place. We should never impose those feelings onto ourselves, because we DO have that power. Use it!

And the only thing now proven to combat these super-bacteria is flower essences. Yep, Nature contains the only thing strong enough to kill what medicine created and now can't kill...and those things are flowers in their purest and most potent form. daisy

I think that everybody should stay away from all this "anti-bacterial" soaps...

Really, do we need to use them when we do the dishes....???
Or anything else, for that matter...???

We will end up with bacteria stronger that the one from outer space....!!!!!!wine

Hi Dru, ty for your input, i agree there as i'm sure many do. Yet many have no idea as to your idea's, it's foreign in thought. Having never investigated that area. Share what you can. All thoughts are absolutely welcome here to satisfy any curiosity. :)

A thought, is progress a detriment? Defined as progress sculpted by man as it is today. Being my thought.

Your body knows how to bring itself back into Homoeostasis if you allow time for it to do so.

When it fails to do that then it is time to see a Doc. wine

LethalLove: Progress?

My own personal opinion is the insanity has devolved, regressed...compounded and decompressed our natural instincts.

Honestly, with the internet today it's easy for people to read up on it if they really care about their health and want to know. None of what I've posted is just pulled out of my mind, it's searchable. People just have to care enough.

And sorry, Bentlee. This is my passion in life, and the more I learn, the more passionate about it I become. blushing

But I get upset when I give someone recommendations and they take them to their doctor, and the doctor says, "Yes, this is all of the stuff that you should be doing, but that I'm not supposed to tell you about." So for years a friend of mine lived with a condition that the doctors could have resolved, but didn't, one that has many other related health issues. Yes, true story...and just made me even more passionate about my field of study and living a holistic lifestyle.

And now it's time for me to get off of here and stop procrastinating. I have to prepare for work tomorrow. Good thread...and thankfully, many are starting to get it. wine

thumbs up Agreed. I'm not saying that they don't have a place at all...just that it shouldn't be as prominent as it is now. And yes, given a chance and the proper nutrition, and keeping mind, body, and spirit in balance, allows the body to return itself to homeostasis. We were designed with more beauty than we know, and the ability to heal ourselves if we live right.

When progress is only about the money it can make, then it is. But you named that one already - I guess that is what it comes down to, unwillingness to share - the big Greed.

Another reason I am a linux fan laugh

This topic is wide, medics is the perfect spot to start.

Our docs today know well where their knowledge come from, but the scientist rather they did not...

The symbol of the docs is still medieval. The "witches" in the forests found the cures that later got distilled and "perfected" into a multinational business with weird names no-one living can derive from it's original sources.

Keeping that in memory together with the other knowledge - let your kid get sick while a kid and he will become healthy - and the third knowledge - perfectly clean environments create allergies - we really should know better...

Mike69. . . . . good thoughts there. How can man offer creation of goods to existing proven natural process, without expecting natural man made process to take over, by both, nature an his doing! :)

Sorry you deal with that by the minute. We all have immune systems that need to be fed. Yes bacteria and germs. It keeps us healthy by doing so. :)

Natural process, and being alkaline vs acidic plays a huge part in natural process.
