I look back, I just don't stare..

I can not change the past, so I don't think about how I would have done anything differntly. I look toward the future and things I want to do today and tomorrow. I don't find it is healthy to think about the "what ifs". Knowing I made a bad decision is okay, but wishing I could change it is something else.

I agree with you there we can not change the past, but for me i had no choice and now i have the choice to change it for the future and that makes me happy.

No, because all of it made me who I am today. I made these choices for a reason, and I'll follow through to see where this journey takes me. I look back on the path occasionally to see where I've been, but I keep my thoughts focused on the future and where I'm heading.

But seriously, that is NOT due to my mother. Rather my sis. We find strength where it is offered, the most obvious place is not always the one.
No worries, I have my mom sorted, just that I find my mother-in-law to have been a better model. She actually have arguments to support her sometimes wicked ideas
No, we love them (blood relatives) because they exist, the rest is chemistry and sometimes it is lacking.

I speak not from past realionships, for me this is done and this door is closed I'm ready to move on forward.
I'm talking about friends, family, jobs ect. anything else.
I know one thing i would change and will change, to go back to the place i felt home the first time in my life, had to leave it some time ago and now is the time to change that.

In all honesty the main regrets ive had is not taking the chances that ive had due to my own feelings of right and wrong as well as my fears of setting myself up for a fall or knock back even when it appeared i was being given the green light by women when I was younger.
I just wish I had been more confident and less self protecting and considerate of others.
But the stupid thing is that I know that I would continue to be the same.
Unless someone comes into my life like my ex wife and gives me no reason to think that way.
