I think you are simply frustrated from a reaction with a gentleman you had a phone conversation with and liked and it turned out badly. We can't begin to answer your questions and dilema since we have no idea what transpired during that phone conversation. You are seeking reassurance from a bunch of strangers who never met you nor truly have ever spoken to you.

It's okay to be mad and angry. It's all part of trying to find someone good. You'll run into a lot of bizarre stuff along the way, but in the end, you'll come out alright.

I don't dislike you at all, but you know there may be some truth in what the gentleman said. From you twisting my words you do seem somewhat controling.
