For those who have a partner - does it bother you when they flirt with other people even though it's just for fun?

Me too, but it's easier to flirt online than in person. My mom still flirts and she's 79!

You can always look at the menu without going into the restaurant.

Flirting is fun. It should be actively encouraged, as long as there is no malicious intent ...

Hey Jonquille (quick, no one is looking) kiss kiss hug

No matter how secure and confident you are in yourself and in you’re relationships it has a way of causing troubles. It's disrespectful and I would never do it to someone I care for again. And I would expect the same.

Have to agree here if you feel the need to do it make sure noone that you know is looking or finds out all it does is hurt feelings.

Nope because I'm one of the biggest flirts I know, I've even been told that I'm flirting with someone and I didn't even know I was, So he can flirt all he wants as long as it's not serious and it dosent go past that!

To be honest, yes it does bother me...but when I'm talking with my female friends people say I'm flirting with them...even tho I don't see it, I'm just being all stupid. So if I can't stop myself, why should I except the same out of the one I love? But as long as I know its all in fun, and I know that she truely likes me, than its all good!kiss

Jealousy doesn't help at all. If your partner is wants to cheat on you they will.. Jealousy may even cause them to do that when they normally would not have..if they are going to cheat let it happen so you know it's time to move on and get a life

Ah, but I don't equate flirting with cheating. Like some of you who posted here I've been told I'm flirting when I don't realize it - just laughing, bantering, enjoying a conversation. Sometimes it's deliberate, with good friends who know it's only a game. At Renaissance faires flirting is the norm - in garb (costume) you take on another persona.

Lots of opportunity to flirt in the CS community. kiss

p.s. Belushi I left the bedroom window open... where were you?

I think flirting is fine, it keeps the mind and body languages alive, but if it goes to the next level in anyway, then that is just disrespectful to your partner.

So to answer the question no, jealousy is not one of my partners...
