I think all relationships are different, and move at a different pace... Seems to me its a little fast with your older sister, but if they have spent enough time together and know each other well enough to take the next step, I would be happy for her... and hope she is making the right choice...

I find it all depends on the people involved.
Some seem to move way too fast in my opinion, but later are still stupidly happy together.
While on the other hand, those who took their sweet time about things, are seperated and miserable about the whole thing.

I agree with JD. Plus age is a factor. What one might do at 20 years of age is totally different than I might do at my age.

It is good to wait a few years or so before getting engaged then married a couple of years later. As for living together, it would be advisable after a year or so of being a couple. It pays to have an ideas as to whether or not they will be compatible in the same home and to see if they are both ready for the responsibilites that come with it.
