jlb684: So what's the magic number, then? 3rd date? 6th? 4 months? A year? This "rule" people impose upon themselves (or others) is ridiculous. I agree completely with Jan. You set some sort of standard, yet you are perfectly content with allowing the woman to break YOUR standard for your own satisfaction and selfish gratification, then you turn around and basically blame her for being the reason that you can't or won't have a relationship with her.
Here's a tip....
Don't take her to your bed, don't encourage, don't lead her on. If you do these things, the problem is yours. If you want a relationship with a woman but feel that this won't be possible if you sleep with her on the first date....then, for Christ's sake, DON'T SLEEP WITH HER!
Own up, man up, and stop putting the blame on the woman!

Goodness, I agree. Tempting a woman and then shoving her out the door when you are done is not a good way to find a relationship.
She may just give you an STD if you picked up the wrong one and she catches on and then you will be sorry.
OR...she may seduce you a second time and then cut your weanie off. ack.. Be nice to the girls and they will be nice to you.
