Hi there, im lookin forward to meeting up with you all when u come to sligo, lots to do nd see here, depends what ur into. i know the hotspots nd where theres a few good jukeboxes around. see u then. iv chatted to some that are coming nd hav spread the word to some of the locals who are on the site. im working at the weekend but thinkin of takin it off if i can get it off!

Hi, depends what you are in to.
A visit to drumcliffe and yeats grave , great scenery and if you are the outdoors type then a trek around benbulben , sligo has some great beaches rosses point , strandhill etc and at this time of the year the atlantic should be a bit on the wild side or bracing as I call it so you might get to see some hardy souls out surfing, chat nice to them and you might get to try it out yourself. I,ve had some very good meals at reasonable prices in that part of the world, pub grub and restaurants, so if you are a foodie there are lots of places to check out,
There are lots of lakes and hills to wander , and if you want to get up close to windmills they are in easy access,
All in all a good place to visit, hope you have a good time,,
glencar waterfall is a beautiful walk also not far from yeats grave theirs a beautiful lake near it and you can do a circle of a drive around it!!its on the border of leitrim and sligo

When is everyone coming?..........lots to do during the day.......cheak out Lough Gill for lovely walk or Strandhill or Rosses point Beach.......oh and if the ladys want some pampering check out the seaweed baths in Strandhill.......only 20euro for an hour of pure relaxtion....Climb Benbulben or easier still is Knocknarea ( dont forget the rock on the way up for Queen Meave's tomb, its bad luck ) and check out some amazing views....Yeats grave and Glencar waterfall.....def worth the trip.....night time.....restaurants to go to are Bistro Bianconi, well priced....yummy and far too much of it......Ceasers is wonderful too and right by the river.......Pubs: Garvougue, Fiddlers or for quieter places with a bit of craic check out shoot the crows or Hardigans.....but so many here......Velvet and Toffs for dancing but Velvet only open on a sat night.......

Ok the plan for Saturday night is to head to the Garavogue for about 8.30 and then onto Velvet later for a bit of a bop. Anyone in the area that fancies coming along you are more than welcome.
Not sure what the plans are for friday night yet but if anyone wants to catch up with us mail me.

......might see ya all here so....i was in sligo on saturday night. stayed in glass house hotel. was in fiddlers and velvet room. it was a great night. ye will have a ball
