While watching the Congress debate the Health Care Bill,
Some Congressmen brought up this new series and asked others
if they had viewed it.
It was said that many are comparing some of our government
officials to characters in V.
I found this amusing and having never heard of Vmyself, decided to give it a look.
I just finished viewing the pilot of V.
I am wondering if any of you have seen it and what you think
about it.

Isn't V a remake of that mini-series from back in the early 80's? I'm not able to watch anything at the moment because my Sat's out and, I'm on dial-up so very limited here as well. Sounds like it would be kewl to watch, though.

I watched the new one, also watched the old one. I liked the old V so if this one is along the same line will love it too.

Dang Kitty, I haven't seen you in ages!!!
I read thru the comments on abc and many seemed to like the old version better. But this was just the pilot.
The next episode will air tomorrow night at I think 7 central time.
I have no comment on what I believe, weather this relates to anything in real life in our government. They did speak of
Universal Health Care and I saw some similarities there.
But as to government officials and people on the planet really being reptile animals wearing flesh suits???

It makes you wonder, doesn't it? When they bring it up during a session of Congress on Health Care!!
Surely there's no way... I am just not going to entertain that idea!! I don't want to know!!
They will only be airing 4 more episodes this year and will continue with it next year. Who knows when it will come out on DVD?
Too bad you don't have high speed. The new Real Player will record the videos straight off the net. I have a website that shows almost all TV channels for FREE! Most of them, the real player asks if I want to download.

No, they are not dark on mine at all.
Stuff used to be dark, but when SoldierByte was here, he adjusted the contrast on my monitor and now things aren't dark anymore!

I too was an avid fan of the original and LOVED it..
So far I too am quite pleased with this re-make..

Whew! So you are saying that the Congressmen were not suggesting that some of the other Congressmen are reptillian aliens?
Because after watching V
it was said there, that they were, that they had been at work for years, setting things up, and that there were many of them who had established themselves in high positions.
I have never heard of reptillian aliens in flesh suits. Should we cut them behind the ear to make sure they have a skull bone?
Do you think they would go for this? Do the Congressmen want to do this to each other?
