Going to start this one off with something that's of great importance to me at the moment--will fill you in!

1. It takes 21 days to make OR break a habit.
2. over-population is followed by great natural disaster.

would like to get your responses. To # 1 there DOES seem to be quite a lot of articles and convincing studies. Still--would like to research further. thanx!cool

#1 It took me 3 weeks to quit smoking ... complitely ... so 21 day makes sense. Maybe it is timeframe when body systems are getting rid of bad stuff dunno

# It is make sense too. It seems like our Planet's way to keep population from oversizing. I would add not just natural disaster but Wars too

Hmmm ... good question conversing wave

Is #1 a habit or an addiction. I broke the habit of smoking immediately, but I will be fighting the addiction for the rest of my life. JMO

#2 is hogwash to me. again JMO

Through-out my years I have heard both those "quotes"..
but as to the validity or truth in either..
I cannot say...
In some things they both seem logical,
but in other things, -- not so;..
I just don't know..dunno

agree with #1 if you really have the will-power to be diligent about breaking the habit.
#2 is one of those things that falls under the unexplainable "acts of god" insurance clause. Or it is co-incidental acts of nature which leaves you shaking your head about them.
It seems to me there is a balancing act going on with the planet and it's inhabitants, but the mechanism that regulates the balance is off a bit as the population grows too fast???
You look at the starvation in the Sudan, over population and the obvious lack of food for the people means that population center is being "handled" if you can say that? Or is it just poor planned parenting that created the situation?
