Er, you mean one of the richest? I remember back in the 80's (I know it shows I'm becoming an old fart now!) in the pre-Alex Ferguson days, United used to struggle to get in the top half of the table.

I've mostly been 'battling' the case for the atheists in the religious threads so far, but I decided to post something more light hearted for a change

I've noticed many 'fans' of Chelsea here in Malta in the past decade whereas in pre-Abramovic days, Chelsea fans in Malta were a protectd species, lol.
Same goes for Manchester City, they've been blooming around here lately.

Thanks , I have been a supporter all my life, my grandfather played for them until he came out to Australia , I stil remember us being in the old division 4 ( League 2) in the late 80s early 90s.

I don't know if you ever played a computer game called 'Football Manager'? I used to 'manage' Wanderers in the game once, managed to beat Liverpool in it as well. Oh well, the joy of computer games!

I do wulfen I just got FM2010 but they are so addictive ...I spent 6 hours on it once
oh and worked out a great way for lower league teams to make money...I played as Bognor Regis ( I dont know why) and my reserves got to play home friendlies against barcelona, AC & Inter, their B teams & you get quite a lot of money for gate takings

I have every version from cm95 till fm2010. For some reason the latter is installing with errors and won't run
I still have FM09 installed on my laptop thankfully, and yes, they are addictive, but help the workday pass quicker!

I have heard that about FM2010 I am yet to install it still playing 2009, did get the 2005 one out of storage for a laugh , it seems so outdated now
