About Roberto Mancini even if I don't like the character of the guy (resembles a lot Mourinho), he was a great player in the 90's. As a coach he won 5 times the Italian Cup (Fiorentina, Lazio and Inter) , 3 leagues with Inter (one given on the table) and twice the Italian Super Cup. As a player he won the Italian Championship twice with Sampdoria & Lazio, Italian Cup with Sampdoria and Lazio, Cup Winners Cup with Sampdoria & Lazio and also the Italian Super Cup with the same teams. He was sacked by Inter after winning the Chapionship, since after being eliminated from the Champ League against Liverpool he said that he was annoyed of Coaching them and even if after he went back from what he said, Inter decided to sack him and get Mourinho.

Mancini has won 3 consecutive leagues in Italy with Inter, but he is not considered a 'great' since Inter were basically competing alone during those 3 years, while in Europe their record has been abysmal, struggling even against modest opposition.
Milan & Juve had to deal with the penalties imposed from the calciopoli scandal, while Roma gave them a good challenge, but they're not on a par with Inter financially.
Even so, Roma managed to take the title challenge to the last game, even being 'virtual champions' till the last half hour of the last game of the season, before Inter clinched their 3rd title with Mancini.
To be honest it's Inter's European tradition a whole joke. Last Champ Cup won is back in 1965 when the cup was still without the big ears and photos where still black & white. re the calciopoli sanctions it's very true that the 2 main rivals of Inter couldn't challenge them, since Juve where thrown in Serie B and Milan didn't know if they where competing in the CL until the very end. A curiosity on the transfer market of that summer was that Milan and Juve came to an agreement for Ibrahimovic, agreement which also Milan had with the player. Moratti the Inter president was continously saying that Milan won't compete in the CL and since the decision was taken in the very last days Ibra went to play for Inter, with the very first words where that he would give the CL to Inter that year. Funnily enough Milan competed in the CL and also won it in Athens in the famous revenge against Liverpool.

Also, first having Ibra in their team, and now Mourinho & Balotelli doesn't earn Inter any sympathy points either!
