My three cats and two dogs are allowed onto the bed - if they want to.....

How about yours ? Are they allowed to sleep in your bed and what does your lover say to this ?

My thinking is: men come and go - my pets stay

Please do not trash me for I am very new here and just am trying to test the waters if there are any men out here who love pets and don't mind being around them

Because: I DO COME AS A PACKAGE !head banger angel peace

Do you see yourself typing (as in; do you hear yourself what you are saying ?)

Don't you think that I have taken preventive measures to keep pests away from the animals, me and the flat ????

and to bust another one of your bright lighbulbs: fleas, mites etc. will not stay on the floor...they will get into and onto everything - if your place, your animals are infested....

But: I am ok with your answer because a man can't think much further than black and white.... frustrated grin

My dog comes to my bed for a few minutes then goes to his own comfy bed, I trained him to do that because he snores so badly I wouldn't get a wink of sleep otherwisesigh

I have also noticed that different cultures act on this differently... so I have known several English, Irish, Scottish who do not mind having an animal sleep in the same bed with them but then I have met quite a few of other countrymen who do not even want an animal live in the house... I do believe that that has something to do with ones upbringing ... what you think ?

I know what you mean !!!! I got one that snores so loud, too, it is the one on my photo - she stays in her own bed at night, only comes in my bed in the mornings to wake me up and get a few minutes cuddles in... the young one, she snores so bad (sleeps by my feet)that I got to gently touch her to get her to wake up a bit, she then groans like: quit that ! and goes right back to snoring...my oldest cat lies by my face and puts his paw ontop of my head - but when he is fast asleep he starts the weirdest snoring I ve ever heard ! The other one I do have like a teddybear in my arms and when I turn over he turns over with me...can't fall asleep without him purring at me... the third, the girl, she sleeps with my older doggiegirl on her bed, cuddled up to her.

Having owned dogs and cats until recently and regularly treated them with the appropriate preventative products, in the timescales recomended by the manufacturers, such as "frontline" I know that these products are not 100% proof that such creepy crawlies will not get in the house.

My pets were never allowed in the bedrooms for such a reason.

JMHO.... black or white or not.

ever tried to feed them garlic once every week in their regular dinner ? That is what does the trick...but not too much as it is poisoning if you feed them too much....

Just got to know what to do, buddy ! And then voilá ! No probs whatsoever

sure am! what do you think it sounded like when I still had my husband (deceased since 1998) lying beside me, one dog on his side of the bed, one on my side of the bed, two at the footend (all on the floor, mind you... they all five snored so loud, sometimes I snuggled up with the cats on the couch because the bedroom sounded like a construction site !!!!wow
