feathersteve:

think that remark was a little below the belt , i have dogs and ferrets mine dont get fleas or ticks even though they do the job they where bred for hunting , not wrapped up in cotton wool like some people do with there pets , garlic capsules keep away fleas and ticks

Garlic capsules?

It's interesting, do they sell it in pet shops specifically for this purpose?

And what about cats? Is it good for them too? hmmm

steve6610: Yes most definately Jessie would enjoy surfing at Middleton

I couldnt actually imagine you without her

To my knowledge, she has never been in or near water. This weekend, I want to take her along Linear Park, at the bottom of St Peters. I will soon see what she makes of it. I don't fancy diving in after her today. It's gone all cold!laugh

But Middleton Beach, she would LOVE that, chasing all day, especially if you throw a ball in the water. She loves retrieving!banana

Linear Park is lovely especially around St peters & up to Paradise.

There is a lady down here who walks her Border Collie every day, she throws the ball to it & it catches it runs ahead drops it & waits for her to get to the ball again, its quite intruiging watching it grin

Yes, we need to be so careful with our cutie pie animals.

What seems harmless to us, can give them tummy upsets, or much worse.uh oh

Yes, Jessie can do it for what seems for ages, 'cept she eventually stops to take a breather, then off again!

Somehow I think she would rather have sheep to round up, and get a real sense of achievement. comfort

laugh Lets see how she goes with seagulls rolling on the floor laughing , that will test her out.

The Alexandrina Council has encouraged dog walking everywhere , especially along the coast, they have black bags for picking up dogs poo and even have water bowls in spots for our 4 legged friends

He followed my daughter home, a little one, and when she noticed that he has a colar, she took him inside... Only in one last months she got a bird, a dog and now this kitten.

The bird was injured and survived only 3 days. The dog - we found the owner.

But the kitten... dunno we checked lost/found online - no one claims him. It's been 2 weeks now.

And her boys are all over him, especially a 3yo.
I think she secretly hoped nobody would claim him, because on the 2nd day she'd already ordered all he needed - a bed, food, litter, toys, new collar with a phone number, etc.

Lol... roll eyes

My cat is allowed on the bed.

We all snuggle together on the mornings the humans have the luxury of sleeping in.

USThumper: My two St's and hound sleep on the bed, along with several cats. I just squeeze in where I can find room. Just think, if we ever got together, we would need a room size bed. I know a queen size gets crowded with the two St. Bernards, hound, half a dozen or so cats, and me on it, but I do stay warm.

Oh, I guess we would find some spot for the two of us inmidst all of our critters !bouquet hug head banger

Malti: forgiven for saying my mind? haha you must be in Godmode or something...

its how you said it, that I did not like. and how can you say a continent has a smell? you're saying that Napoli (which is known to have many trash collection problems) smells like capri which is a seaside resort? or like somewhere in france where they have woods? or on the mountains? or near a river? you're telling me you went around the world, smelled all the corners, nooks and crannies and people and mentally recorded them?

If you wrote that, seriously, I guess you need help.
sawadee ka Malti, sorry i must of misread it but thank u for clarifying that Maltithumbs up

well both of us don't have english as a mother language, but I guess we're both mentally capable of recognizing that you use deragatory terms against a country and that you're not a person who likes when other people's views go against yours, even if who says them, does it with prudence.
