My dad snored liked a buzz saw for the first 50 years of his marriage to my mother. It was a constant source of aggravation for her. He finally talked to the doctor and was prescribed a breathing machine to wear in bed. The snoring was a form of sleep apnea and had been the source of his fatigue most of his life. The first night he wore the machine to bed the snoring stopped. My mother was still unhappy because after half a century of learning to sleep through his snoring, she was then having trouble sleeping without the constant noise. Some people are never happy!
