I should I not invite someone who to my home without knowing who they are right?

I was going to meet this guy he wanted to come over to my house I told I did not feel right invited him over without being introduced now he does not want to meet did I do the wrong thing?

My parents always told me to not invited someone over without knowing them is that good advice?

oh hell yes thats great advice...I had the same thing happen to me on another site the guy just kept insisting to come over to my place...that sent my rader off...hell he might have showed up and never left...so needless to say I did block him....and if guys can't understand that then screw em....you did nothing wrong...

Never ever do a first meeting at your home with someone from the net. Do the first meeting at a public place after letting friends and family know. This should be done after talking via email and phone over a period of time. You can even have a friend or family member along to make yourself feel safer.
