Also the crime figures are easily accessible, which do support my argument. But I don't like this argument because it can lead to people assuming black,arab etc are criminal, when I don't see it like this, I see it as a result of the enhanced lack of trust that exists in multicultural communities.

Poverty causes crime and unrest. Thats a fact. Deprived areas will have a higher crime rate than more affulent areas. Does not matter about the culturel mix in the area i don't think.

Yes one area doesn't prove the point, but study crime figures and you will see the trend(especially in violent crime).
And as for the sense of trust issue, just look at where parties like the British national party are drawing its votes from.

But I would put it all down to poverty. The BNP are drawing support from those areas as people are unemployed and they are disheartened with the current system. They see so called "foreign people" doing well and presume their lives would be better if they were not there. If thos people had a job would they have those feelings?

..why should the changing demographics of the US be of any surprise?
...the perception that America was.... is .....and should remain white skinned and english speaking...suggests somewhat of an inflated ego ......

I agree. The OP seems to think white people own the United States and them being a minority would be a bad thing. People are people no matter what colour or creed. Who cares if white people are in a minority anywhere in the US. Everyone will be American won't they!

Why is it that these "paranoid" threads come from those in the USA and not from any other country?
