No, there is no universal right to wear anything you want. Also the argument about religious freedom is a red herring because NOWHERE in the Koran does it require women to wear the Birka it is a central Asian/Persian tradition introduced much later than the writing of the Koran.

Human rights are and will always be, a work in progress. Laws get changed at the stroke of a pen.

Your question isn't clear. There is no universal right to wear what you want. Your choice of clothing has to be matched to the laws and customs of the country you are in. If you believe that it is wrong for the Birka to be banned in France then I assume you also believe it is wrong that women have to cover their hair and body in Saudi Arabia?

Which is true if the women are wearing the Birka out of CHOICE not because they will be attacked on the street, or are forced by their family/husband.

No violance of human rights if Burqa isn't religious.

But in most rights, when there is a conflict, prevalence must be weight.

Most Human Right cards enshrinefreedom of religion.

Well, some say that Burqa is not based on religion.

Absolute rubbish, are you saying that I have the right to wear a teeshirt with anti-Islamic rhetoric or cartoons of the prophet? If women are so concerned about the wearing of the Birka in France THEN LEAVE! Go to a country which allows the wearing of the Birka. Nobody is forcing them to stay in France. There is no universal or human right allowing choice of clothing, if there was most Islamic states would already be in the process of being prosecuted!
