Today, Sunday, Day of Rest and Silence in Switzerland ...... Except it was Mothers Day......
I woke up to what sounded like the heating system going AWOL and about to blow up the house ........ shot out of bed, down to the cellar, to find the heating is switched off (Ja, it`s Summer now - I forgot) .......... and the noise kept getting louder ..... bang bang bang bang ... till it was right in front of my house!
It was the Village Brass Band parading around before heading into the village to play for the Mothers Day Brunch at the pub!
Phew! What a relief! House repairs cost a fortune here!... not to mention re-building the entire house!
So, to celebrate not being reminded I`m a Mother, my man thingy took me walking thru all the forests of the neighboring villages ....... picking Buttercups and blowing Dandelions trying to make wishes (impossible to blow all the hairs of a Dandelion if you`re a Smoker) ........and then collapsed at a pub with an outside garden to drink beer ... and smoke ... in the sunshine.
Was a nice day.

Today was brilliant for me.
My Gal rode pillion for the first time and she did very well.
We had lunch at Bianco's at St. Julian's with my daughter and her in-laws and then chilled out at home........Mmmmmm

Oh my volleyball's skills????.....I love that sport alot in fact i was so active on that on my schools days. But now????.....oh no, i haven't practiced that anymore since then and now that you reminded of that game, i realized now that i miss it and want to play that sport again soon IF i have extra time....

My day is kind a busy, interesting and i guess exciting....
.....and all comes together ......
...I just hope that my weekends won't be complicated becoz of what's happening now.....otherwise i have to put them by schedule basis during weekends.......

Hopefully tomboygirl will cheer me up over coffee later provided I haven't been arrested at the courts for getting mad at the woman/man who managed to sleep soundly until their alarm went off and then spends the day in a semi stupor calling it work.

"Lousy" is an understatement for me. Must add to all that you wrote that I have the builders demolishing part of the roof, water seeping in everywhere and all the debris turning into a filthy slush. Ugh! I don't know what makes me do some things.
