I just got off the 'phone to an internet provider that offers broadband with unlimited downloads to oldies like me, over 55.
In the bargain, you get $5 off per mth on the phone line, too, as well as $5 off the monthly internet charge!
I guess they must think our age group spends little time on the internet!!!

Oh, and that we have no interest in youtube music videos!!!

Why not open someones Wifi connection and go into the vortex for free...I could tell you a few 'tools' to down load..(either burn to a CD or USB..virus..malware free)...Free telephones I can't do..

Even if that were possible, and legalities aside...
Doing that would make my own computer vulnerable to hacking, and I use it for work purposes with confidential information.
I'm thinking of subscribing to skpye credit and make all calls when at my computer, over the internet...that is almost like having free calls.

It's easy...and you aren't hacking into a PC..only re-directing wifi's...Your PC will be safe (just turn of file sharing options...and a good anti-spy ware-virus thingy, there's some very good free stuff out there)...Skype is good if the other person has Skype (same as YIM-MSN)....

About skype, I know about the free PCto PC calls. I'm talking about PC to landline/mobile calls using skype phone, either from your PC or a handset.

thanks for the encouragement....i tried my best not to think of the distance so much and so i call them more often until i get over it and go back to my normal life here.....I call almost everyday now unlike last time, 3 times a week...

I had a good day.....had lunch with my daughter and me old schoolfriend...discussed her daughters wedding which happens very soon....
came home...sat in the sunshine, in the garden with my papers, read the election results....
had some wine, made a pot of soup and Im going to bed soon...what an exciting life I lead....
