Conrad73: It starts to look a teensie-weensie bit different when you start to push sixty and beyond!
Yes it does, younger ladies are more fun though and they don't have to take a nap on a date like one lady did.
People look at me strange, the women think I'm taking advantage of a young woman, the men think the young woman is taking everything I have in the bank away from me, both wrong.
There are a few profiles, on other sites, where women in their teens say they won't date a man less than fifty, my kind of women. lol

I don't believe age is relevant when two people meet and the sparks fly as they say. It really is all about LOVE this concludes todays lesson, go have fun kids
Englishman55: Age is just a number..... It never bothered me that my last girlfriend was 28 and the one prior to her was 29.
It didn't bother them either !
the movie "Harold And Maude" is worth seeing. Totally delightful, and cleverly written---Harold is fifteen or sixteen and falls in love (yes, in love) with Maude, who is eighty three. The scene where they're riding through the city on a motorcycle is far out.Can it be true that love knows no age? Byron wrote (as probably did others) "Love is always young")
summerrose9: how do other members feel about the way attitudes to age are shown on tv? I got really angry last night ... watching a TV sitcom. It was the USA sitcom '2 and a half men '...which I guess is shown in many countries. Charlie was saying to his brother 'you put your tongue in the mouth of a 60 year old woman ...yeuch'. (I would estimate the 2 brothers to be early 40s) There was no further comment on the lady in question ... it was simply her chronological age that was disgusting him. He made it sound as if a 60 year old woman were barely human!
This is the nastiest, but not the only, reference to women (yes its always women) of that age being past lovemaking, dating etc that I have noticed recently in TV sitcoms and films (all USAmade).Had Charlie said instead 'you put your tongue in the mouth of a black woman ...yeuch!' millions of people (including myself) would have been horrified. Is it just me that finds 'ageism' upsetting too?
it's not upsetting but it is ignorant, and the same type of civil rights violation that the comment would be were it made about a black person. I do not watch American Network TV, so really cannot comment further.
except to add that those same 40 year old men probably have the 20 year old women they crave saying the same thing about them....
Age is a factor sometimes & sometimes not. Many factors go into an attraction.
