Riviera: Hi to all,
Why do I have to be different, when you look out of your window what do you see,
I don't see any cars, traffic, or people, only the sea, islands, otters, and seals, its a lovely view, until mid afternoon, someone has gone and parked / moored a bloody big work boat outside, one anchor line to the south of the house, and another to the north of the house, I don't think the house is moving yet !!! may-be they are going to charge up the batteries as I see a heavy cable being taken ashore and connected to the overhead power lines, must be bloody big batteries, it's a 11,000 volt power line,
Okay what do you all see when you look out of your living room window ??

through my living room window I see a neat garden and the road and houses across the street - tho thro my patio doors is a much better scene

This is partly why I keep the curtains closed 
Through my lounge and kitchen window I see a tidy lawn and shrubs, beyond that,trees,beyond the trees there is a small industrial site (relatively quiet I might add) Almost forgot to mention the abundance of different birds.

Well, thanks for your concern about my view... but to be honest if I had to look out onto a field or sea then it would drive me insane within half an hour 
I'm a complete city woman and happiest when I'm either living or working in city centres.

However after a 60 mile drive and 4 hours in the local hospital A&E must admit I had forgotten about the post,
