bollywood: There are many things which are not tangile but still exist . for example the computer sofware . you cannot touch or feel it . but it works . without an OS or a software your computer will not work , Soul and body is like that .....the Hardware is your body and the software is its soul.
And still all created by mankind, just like superstition and religion.

Yeah...okay, as you wish.
I always thought software is tangible..it can be bought and sold and I feel it in my hand. I can also see it.

I agree with religouns but many superstitions and fantacies of yesterday are todays realities . before we dispell something as superstitions its better to wait for the future to prove it .

Softwares are not tangible in its physical forms. You can feel only its effects . Buying and selling exist in human realm. trading is invention of mankind.

somechick: I'm sorry I've got windows vista on my computer and I don't like it cause it won't let me copy/pate the exact link.I don't see Unconditonal as being absolute.
The Myth of Unconditional Love Unconditional love is a myth. That is because humans are naturally self-biased and the human heart is so deceitful that one can fool himself into thinking that he is loving unconditionally, when in fact he has all kinds of conditions. For instance, what kind of "unconditional" love is at work when the psychiatrist's client can no longer pay for services and therapy is discontinued?
Unconditional love cannot be based upon performance or it wouldn't be unconditional. Therefore, it must be based on the intrinsic worth of the person. Paul Brownback, in his book The Danger of Self-Love, explains it this way:
I'm abit confused here. A client is paying for a service so if the client cannot afford to pay why should the provider continue providing a service? They did not enter into a contract of unconditional love.

somechick if you mail me I will teach you how - this should not be a prob. for you.
As for absolutes. Yes, there are many, and then their are none. Much is perceived, and perhaps the human mind is not capable of great enough understanding. So I think we often perceive absolutes with our intuition which is a very powerful and under rated tool.
Absalute in this world...... Yep I'M ABSABLOODYLUTELY certain that the OP will not admit that there is No proof of the Soul...unlike the fact there is tangible proof of Software is real......

Indeed software is very real. I am surprised that this OP made such an obvious error Try telling a software developer that software isn;t real!!!
Do emotions result from us having a soul, or merely from the laws of nature?
Degenerative diseases of the brain that erode personality, and cases where brain damage causes sudden changes in character, are both only possible if character itself is biological.
Mood disorders and mind-altering drugs indicate that the sources of feelings are biochemical.
Inherited mood disorders and developmental diseases show us that personality is driven by biology.
Depression, love, niceness, politeness, aggression, basic drives, abstract thinking, judgement, patience, considered behaviour, instincts, memories, language construction and comprehension, and every emotion, have turned out to have biochemical causes, not spiritual ones, and can all be radically affected by brain damage and brain surgery.
If there was a soul, brain damage could not also damage our emotional feelings, but it does.
If memory, behaviour and emotions are all controlled by the physical brain, what is a soul for?
It seems to me that there isn't anything for a soul to do - it certainly does not control behaviour or character, and, any free will it exerts is promptly overridden by biological chemistry, hence why so many diseases have an uncontrollable effect on personality.
Such evidence demonstrates that the idea of souls is misguided.

Don't you ever wipe another Hard-Drive or turn off your Computer!

Wrong. Before we give ANY credence to ANY ideology, we must wait for THEM to give evidence for it.
It is up to the person who makes the claim to provide the evidence.
If there is no evidence, we can dismiss it as made up.
