Ironic, the OP is a BBW, but wants a “HOT” guy. Why not just a nice guy? (Like the one Meilandra has found.) I didn’t even see any mention of his size etc in her description, just his inner qualities. And why does he have to take care of himself when you don’t? Aren’t YOU the one being hypocritical and shallow here?
I completely agree with SusieRR. Just don’t want to fall for someone that won’t be around long. That isn’t being shallow in the slightest.

Another generalization. None of the girls I know do any of that. If anything, they are just trying to resist the junk food and eat better. Yeah, my daughter brings her buddies around, by the droves. And no, I don’t insult the chubby ones, but I won’t offer them cheetos and sodas either. Don’t even allow it in the house. If one of the kids brings them over, I just tell my daughter not to eat that crap, and they can follow suit if they want, or not.

LOL likewise. The worst would be to be with a man that I thought I could take in arm wrestling. I am old fashioned enough to still want him to be the bigger, stronger one.

I'm a bit overweight right now, but I've been overwieght, underweight, skinny, thin, fat, solid...you name it. And yup, people out there in the world do treat you a lot nicer when you look 'better'. (Despite the fact that your the same person whether you'r thinner than 'Brad Pitt', and I was; or have the physique of 'Gigantor' like I do now).

I've got overweight family and friends who have swung from heavy to skinny and back, (some now slim, some now heavy) and they say the same thing. It's partly inner-attitude, but it's also something you can't control: how people see you, react to you and treat you. Sadly, the human race is often shallow and visually fixated...and that means glamourous 'beutiful' people tend to be more exciting to be around...mostly because more people make a fuss over 'slim' people.
I've said before "It's incredible how invisible you become the bigger you get! What? You can't notice/see me? I'm twice your size!" But somehow you can just fly under the radar once you hit the 'obese zone'.

One of my pals, a heavy guy, tells me people try to fix him up with heavy gals. "But I'm not attracted to heavy gals!" he says. Fair enough.
Meanwhile, women keep telling me (despite my reluctant belief) that lots of gals like bigger guys. Yup, guys not just with more muscle, but extra fat tissue. Them women just think any way they want to guys...one gal-pal of mine unashamedly admitted she liked guys with bellies. She liked bellies. And that was back when she was a teen!
Go figure.

Are there any guys out there looking for BIG women? I'm sure there is.
In London, a club called "Planet Big Girl" lets in any guy, but no women under a "size 16" (UK dress size) is allowed in. It's a nightclub exclusively for overwieght (or bigger sized) women...and the men (or I guess women) who want to be with one.

But I gotta agree with Jan1305 ...

Stereotyping bigger women (or men) as being 'bigger hearted' or better cooks or better at board games or whatever...is just that: sterotyping.
I'd be more interested in meeting someone who can cite their individualty...rather than hearing about what makes people with their dress size or their shoe size better than people who have some other shape or shoe size.

C'Mon! Where are all the hot, sultry, exotic women (Eartha Kitt?) who are into us guys with size 13 feet? (UK size 12).

Jan, you are correct it is a common theme her on CS and other places as well.

What shines through form these threads are the attitude of the writers. It’s as of they are victims screaming “I am OK” in very bitter tone. I find it very sad that their inside has become as they and society view their outside which is obviously ugly.

This is not true with all big women. I have known some who are beautiful inside and out.

When my wife and I divorced I was fat, bitter and felt like a victim. I did this little thing called exercise and stopped drinking and eating bad foods and 30 lbs less later I feel great.

I was not a good victim, I did not like being bitter and I was not going to be fat.

Just an observation

When I mean HOT guys im talking about...any size guys, any nice guys....thats what I find "HOT".
