ComedyLover: I feel like such a fool for saying it too soon. He blurted it out first and then took it back. (Sounds like, "The Nanny.") Then I told him I loved him a few days later. He's been avoiding me for the past day. Whereas, we were talking several times a day. Maybe he's thinking about it?
Two questions...Have you met in person?? is it possible hes married or in a relationship? Hmmmm: confused:
woodzchick: Now that was what I was thinking! I'm glad you said it. If he gets all freaky because you said "I love you" and wants to cut off contact with you....leave him alone and give him a dose of his own medicine. Maybe then he'll get things into perspective.
In response to: I'm don't understand why men run scared when a woman says I love you, before they do.
When one use ISMS to decide and making sight be a dealbreaker, even though chemistry is a completely internal concept, what do you expect is going to happen.
When there is no neuronal or synaptic compatibility you get what you don't want, mundane frightened men who care about nothing but themselves.
Oh well, do not only fools keep doing the same failing concepts time and again so...
Time for re-evaluation perhaps in what is truly important??
It's worse if they say I love you and don't back up their words
The way I see it there are two meanings to the word I love you.
The first few months when you are together you might be in love and it is a great feeling. I do have the tendency to say "I love you" at that point. It doesn't mean it implicates anything, it's just an expression of how I feel at the moment.
After few months the in love phase passes, and it grows to either love or separation. If it grows into love than the word I love you has a totally different meaning and it implicates a lot more.
