flick1980Offaly, Ireland27 Threads 1 Polls 1,684 Postssince i joined there have been 2 occasions where i have chatted to guys for a while and we seemed to be getting on well and all of a sudden they take their pics down and i dont hear from them again. i know they were genuine single guys but did i really turn them off the site that much???? they didnt even cancel their accounts.

I think there are a lot on here that have issues. 
But I think when you have been on here a while you learn how to pick them out after a few mails. Still though, there are plenty of sane and normal folk here too.
you get some peoples just messing with you on this site and a fair few seedey mofos just looking for a quick lay

Hey R., and sometimes it only takes one email!!!! Some of them are a bit blunt and crude and you're under no illusions as to why they are making contact !!!! Or is this another situation where it's just me????

One lad I went on a date, deleted his profile approximately the time he arrived home, that very night.
I was that disappointing!
I reckon some just just toddle off, internet dating is not for everyone.
Can be very touch on lads, women are much better at expressing what they mean through this medium than men, particularly younger men.
I mean, the forum generally has the best stock of men, as they're well able to hold a conversation, debate etc....
But some, just find after some communication they haven't a notion of what to say, so totter off but may still leave their page open, picless to still keep options open.
They are men after all.

I think you have to have a tough skin when on here as some can be a lot more blunt on here than they would be in real life. They feel just because they are sitting behind a screen they can forget their manners.

Yes! I was briefly chatting to a (apparently) lovely guy, and he just vanished. boo. Who knows why? Maybe he just wandered off..
