Excuse me kind sir;I think you were not born when either boat was built.So if it is in an old news paper clip of history then you believe it as fact;But if a sumerian king writes it in his stone history clip then it is false;confused Help me understand your thinking .....doh

this is often the problem when there are irrational people present... I don't know, maybe I am just a bit jaded tonight and it's better than I stay out of the forums, for fear that i may wind up in the CS jail... cheers

Den the post was a bit of semi-serious fun, posing the question we judge folk so easily on first impressions and when al the facts are given we would never have thought the same way in a thousand years.....Maybe I'll post a real serious question for the "Experts and Conspiracy theorists" to get their teeth into devil But, I doubt if even they can tell me waht came first the Chicken or the Egg ????

Was it evolution????
or just Old Macdonald on his farm ???

grin cheers

Nope

conjor: But if a sumerian king writes it in his stone history clip then it is false;
I never said any thing of the sort you are making blanket statments with too many variables to be answerable (that’s a good way to make a straw man)

conjor: Help me understand your thinking .....
you need to understand your own first

denmcintyre: forget it Conjur, he said his piece and ran off...
I did no such thing scold as i am sure you know from reading the other thread

elsson: The way I read the OPs post was as a bit of fun not something to be taken literally as many have done. Maybe I am wrong though.

Yes it is the point which you seem to have completely side-lined and misunderstood! Blanket statements, me thinks you have racked up a few of them!grin
