i find i don't need one, but jesus i want one. I guess when you put 12 yrs a non smoker against 50 yrs a smoker, I was always going to do it tough, but I do swear by the Champix tablets, no physicaal withdrawals, just the psych ones

not to throw water on the works, but i know i needed to give up, and i should but been told i am terminal anyway and guess what its not because of smokes , its heart disease and smoking had nothing to do with it. i know its an excuse and in a lot of ways i want to still give up but its the only way i can handle whats going to happen to me in the next cpl of years. wish all of you want to quit the best of luck and like someone else said, it will help the social situation these days

sorryI quit a few year back now (cold turkey). Quite a few guys a work with quit in the last few months. Some with Allen Carrs book, others with champix. One thing that has struck me as helpful is something my engineer said. "Im not quiting smoking I'm just not having the next one." Hope it helps people out there that are struggling with the enormity of it all.
hi quest, yes know what u mean, has been awhile now, still have days when the urge is huge, i really thought it would be gone by now geezzzz. i have not had one & still persist with the minis, but some days are a breeze & others are soo hard could easily have one if i let myself, have to be soo strong always, thanx, good luck with your cold turkey, i could never do that, have you stopped yet?? how is that going? take care
