Well I have an appointment today to chat to the doc about Champix 
The best luck to you, I have gone from 40 a day and now 4 n half years later I feel so good and proud of myself, if champix is the crutch you need to suport you then great, I do beleave that you need to have the want to succeed and no dout you will hav tried before, just take one day at a time get through that and it will become easier, it is a hard thing to do, remember once you have stopped you can never have another one, your health and life will be so different.

Yes we will all die of something...but as a smoker i have decided that if it dose cause death that's not the way i want to go...because it stinks and is so unsociable, I did try champix but slipped up due to stress and the habit, I'm going to go for it again coz I'm about to become a grandmother and don't want him to know me as the smelly gran. as a aged care worker i don't want to go of old age, I'd rather find the bus to walk under...Good luck Damian-owen.

That would depend on what was chasing me? No I am not a tobacco rep! but back in 1993 I worked at Rothmans on a casual callout assignment for three weeks, as a forklift operator/storeman/driver! Back then I was handed the facts on the governments tax revenue on cigarettes from that company alone $138 million went on tax! For every packet of cigarettes I buy the government get ten! For every can of beer I buy the government get three? In dollar terms,
What did they say when they introduced the GST? Never will they tax you more than 10%, the government have been attacking smokers for twenty years, drinkers for ten years, and now they have started on takeaway food? Next time you go to Coles or Woolworths to buy an apple or a few tomatoes, just remember their GST free? Except + the cost of fuel, transportation, storage, so just add an extra 50 cents in tax on everything you buy from the shops goes to the government? Did I mention the fuel excise? 48% of all fuel before GST goes to the government? So you get taxed twice! So what do you get for all that tax you are paying now? Absolutely nothing! You just wait in line for the next idea too tax you more? After all Kevin needs to fly all over the world to tell others just how good the working class families live over here?
well, it's been 3 weeks since I started the Champix course and I'm pretty much over the habbit. I'd still like a cigarette now and then but it's pretty to deal with. Remember I said I have no willpower.
