I'm proud as hell of my Beyonce/JLo shaped bum. It was extremely cool when butts suddenly became fashionable, but I honestly prefered the look of my rear in jeans to that of a couple girlfriends who were considered "skinny" way before the trend took--it did take some time though, and more than a little wadng through the crap I was brainwashed with thanks to beauty mags and pathetic comercials!
I say love that ample skin you're in! We're meant to have something soft to grab, land on, etc--hahaha.
It's also a great asset to have if you like belly dancing as I do. There is nothing more beautiful than a woman who is proud of all of her curves. One of my girlfriends really likes this new tune called "Big girls, you are beautiful" (by Mika? The guy with that fabulously cute Grace Kelly song).
Honestly,I like it better than the fat bottomed girls tune--but it's all progress in accepting that we come in all shapes and sizes.
