jonnt: I wasnt realy highlighting females in my comments ,and not saying you thought so..

Must have been the male species ,no getting away from that , i stand acused

Thing about life is ,whatever hardships we all think we have gone thru , and most of us do ,some others go very negative {mind you i think they were born negative }but the rest of us with wisdom know theres lots of good people ..

Hope im not rabbiting on
I think you are right. Some are born that way. My father never had a good day in his life.laugh According to him. I think he was born that way. Given the choice I would rather be happy. So I try and look at the cup half full. teddybear

I am nearly always early and if not I'll get there at the designated time. I really get annoyed if someone is late but I won't get angry. I just won't be there next time.

Bental: But what is "discombubulated"?

I have a feeling it is what I call "skatnazzt" but you tell me.

I leave very early for everything, to get there ahead of time, so I won't be rushed, and can compose myself. It also allows for flat tyres, traffic hold ups, forgetting something and having to go back for it, the list of things that can go wrong is endless.

I don't like lateness. I think it discourteous.teddybear

I remember when I moved from Ontario to Prince Edward Island Canada's smallest province. My day was always crazy...no matter how hard I tried I always seemed to be running behind, always out of time.

One day standing in line at the market listening to the people chat ahead of me I started to look around, I noticed peeps chatting with one another everywhere. I realized that in order for my "schedule" to work out, I needed to account for chat time.
I started to do this and magically my day started to work out.

This was an entirely foreign concept and it made me realize somethings. I had been living my life on a hamster wheel running madly to be "on time" and never really getting anywhere. That we are in the habit of stressing ourselves out over the small things. We all fret that modern life has lost the "human" touch, yet its right there if we would only make the time for it.

I learned a lot of things living on the Island, I learned to slow down and stop living my life at Keystone Coppers speed.I learned that interacting with people around me all the time is a vital part of life. I learned to recognise the million ways we stress ourselves out. But most important, It prepared me for living in Mexico where the concept of "being late" has no meaning.
