I am looking to get into golf and I haven't played in 28 years. Equipment has changed drastically... so I am looking for a little help figuring which clubs to buy. I don't want a beginners set because I dont want to buy a new set in a couple years.

Steve5721: Had to look at your age and I agree with Costa...get a set with a regular flex.
Personally, if I ever got back into the game again, I wouldn't look any further than TaylorMade. Many golf course shops sell second hand clubs, but I would personally buy new.
I was saying buy second hand until a swing has been sorted.
Regular flex cavity backs not blades
I have stiff flex but that only cause I have a swing like Happy Gilmore....
awesomeboy: i got sum golf clubs for my 16th birthday, only problem was dad forgot i was left handed so he bought me right handed clubs
Oh dear - Dad needs a slap on the wrist!
I started up golf again a few years back - my old clubs included woods - that is the real wooden drivers - - was way too embarrassed to take them outside the house - antique golfclubs anyone??
Alas, I bought a full set for cheap - but at least they are not wooden - love the new drivers - sound fantastic when you hit one well - a rare thing for me, but it does happen.
thank you all, but I think I am going a different route. I have swung a lot of clubs in the past few days at the range and I think I am going with the Adams A7OS Irons. With the comfort and distance I got with these... I should be set.
