I am guessing your marital status may have something to do with it. Of course there could be other reasons but that seems the most obvious one to me so far.

and on what basis do you state women are less compassionate Tetsuo?...The reverse is a more likely assumption, when you look around you at things going on in the world.

I think a lot of women do make an effort to answer mails, but some of them are inundated and the sheer volume they get makes it impossible to respond to all, especially if their time is tight. I wouldn't confuse that with arrogance, ignorance, contempt or lack of compassion (though that may exist in some) but as a 'way of the world' thing and maybe cut them a little slack?

My compassion hardens like concrete when I'm expected to respond to rubbish.

I would say a personal observation is something others can make reply to and question if they do not agree.
I asked poster what he based his observations on.

I read the thread too. And he got the response of a few posters So if he is making an observation I would suggest he broaden his search for the answer.------ This thread is Archived ------

Whether they reply to unsolicited mail could be about manners or politeness... but nothing to do with their compassion and depth of feelings.

It is a persons write to chose....whether to answer a e-mail....make love...run naked threw the park...or eat a candy bar......Some do some don't.....I do,i even answer a scammer or two for the hell of it!
