This past week a police man was killed and the rancher a few months back. But really, does it matter. More important to allow illegals in.
It's hard to believe that Mexican-American citizens are thrilled with "their own" coming over the border illegally when they came in following US laws.
Jvaski, why not go hang out on the border for a few weeks w/o any protection?

I think the Arizona law applies to anyone coming across the southern border. Not just Mexicans. Just a point of fact.
In fact, being here illegally, they don't have "minority standing". But, they should have criminal standing.

Still insisting that illegal immigration is a turd that can be picked up by the clean end eh? Your neighborhood isn't a major pipeline for the cartels, with miles of tunnels dug every day for mules to bring dope across the border, so you're defending all this on the basis of principal and partisan position rather than any personal experience of the really real political realities that are involved...

Guess what......... we actually have a huge population of hispanics in our local. They were originally attracted here by the gambling casinos and then the construction industry.
Yes, originally the problem was overcrouding in the local schools , but eventually most of them became citizens and pay taxes like you and me. And the school systems have adapted.
The crime rate related to our local hispanic population is relatively low. Most of them are working doing the jobs our lazy white kids won't do - and most local hispanics don't drink and keep their noses clean ......
In light of that, maybe becuase of this recent immigration push by republicans - the crime rate is purposely exadurated somewhat.
My hope is this immigration enforcement issue leads to a fair program where we don't literally stomp on hispanics for simply just wanting to work and earn a wage. They're not evil people
