I don't mean to call anyone dumb or unimportant or to degrade anyone in any way. I'm just curious to see if this is a conscious choice that the majority makes. I mean no offense, but it is a fact that some people tend to spend more time in abstract thought than others. What do you think?

Well, if I don't feel like doing my laundry,

I'm going to have to trick someone into it.

Smart girls are hard to trick.

I think a controlling man who wants a doormat might look for a ditzy girl. Some men think all women are dumb or crazy so I wouldnt focus too much on what that type of guy thinks anyways.

It is very true. I know people who will only go out with "ditzy" women just for that reason alone.

That's a really good point and I agree.

I just want to know if that's an inaccurate stereotype some of my girlfriends say is true. I figured I'd get it from the horse's mouth.

If by ditzy you mean dizzy, then not really. Have had friends that are dizzy and find some of them funny, but never been attracted to one. Don't think I could put up with it 24/7. Would drive me mad!! Prefer someone with something about them.

Another Muse - hello!

Smart girl let the guy think he's cleverer - and when they got him where they want him, they make him do what they want, without him noticing... Everybody wins!

I was really attracted to a very beautiful 'dumb blonde' friend for years and when we finally, you know, it was great. We had a laugh and a good time. The conversation however was......erm................didn't find her attractive after that.
